Romantic dusty blues paired with blushes and creams was the perfect palette to celebrate with the couple’s classic style.

As one half of Gavita Flora, it was very important to Briana that the aesthetic be everything that they embody – romantic, dreamy, classic, elegant and sophisticated. Being that their venue was an equestrian farm, it really was the perfect backdrop and fit to their very clean yet romantic style. Pair it with the romantic blues and floral prints and it’s no wonder the design turned out so dreamy!

[field title=”Proposal Story”]
The couple got engaged in Italy! It very much matched their personal aesthetic of old-world romance in an organic and ornate setting rich with history! The couple first met in high school and lost touch for a few years and later re-connected. Their story is one that is special and full of perseverance as it transcends through time as well as societal expectations in being an LGBT couple.

Antonette owns a mobile oyster raw bar so it was only fitting that we had an oyster bar to kick off the festivities! It was a great way to draw guests into the couple’s world and delicious, of course, to enjoy!

Since Briana is one half of Gavita Flora, the company, the flowers were very personal to her. Everything was done in their signature classic, romantic, and lush style but perhaps one of the most special touches belonged to the ceremony as the couple crafted their own stage for the vision that they had of their ceremony not only being inclusive but feeling inclusive and connected in setting. The dusty blues, tassels, and floral prints were also important to the couple in bringing out their love for class and romantic styling.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
The cake was divine in all of its vintage glory! The couple opted for a three-tiered cake with lots of buttercream detailing done in vintage styling. During planning we nicknamed it the Derby cake, paying homage to the classic style of the cake itself as well as to the venue.

Antonette had a full custom tuxedo exclusively tailored for her by Franco Uomo. It was also so special to her to have her dog, Boss, at the wedding as Boss tragically passed away just a few months later.
