[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Margot and Bobby’s private estate wedding in Virginia brought classic, old world charm with a modern twist. Drenched in family heritage, the event took place at Margot’s childhood home. Honoring her mother’s love for gardening, the design highlighted the stunning rose gardens and chinoiserie. The lovely Jessica Ashley Events blended this seamlessly with hints of European flare, as a nod to the couple’s shared love for traveling and Italy. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Showing off their love for travel, the couple wanted to give their guests an international culinary experience by offering various dinner stations: a risotto bar, Asian action station, mezeh station, and mashed potato bar. Guests enjoyed a large charcuterie spread and signature cocktails during the cocktail hour and a fun late-night inspired dessert spread at the end of the night, like cookies with shots of milk.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The timeless design for Margot and Bobby’s wedding brought an organic sophistication to an at-home garden with a beautiful sailcloth tent filled with three different tablescapes filled with pattern play and classic, checkered dance floor. The romantic florals put a twist on tradition with garden-inspired vibes, and chinoiserie vases and ginger jars were in abundance. Various paperie elements featured the mother of the bride’s watercolor work, and natural textures like the rattan lights balanced the design.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The couple opted for an understated, petite wedding cake adorned with florals, and they treated their guests to various desserts, late-night bites, and a s’mores bar.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Margot and Bobby are puppy parents to a lovable Corgi who needed a tribute at the event! The escort card display titled “Fetch Your Seat” was a wall of corgi magnets and an absolute hit with the guests![/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The circular bar at the entrance brought a major “wow” factor to the reception. Tucked behind a tentrance of florals and potted trees, the bar featured custom, floral-patterned wallpaper panels that encapsulated the essence of the overall vibe so beautifully. With a stunning, large floral arrangement in the center and various ginger jars on top, the bar setup greeted guests in such a magnificent manner. The bartenders wore similarly- patterned tie that really brought it all together.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The event highlighted so many personal elements to the couple, their interests, and their heritage. The bride’s family owns various horses and a donkey. Their beloved donkey was featured in the custom invitation suite and then showed up at the wedding as a “beer donkey”– with florals braided into his hair and carrying various drinks on his back that guests could enjoy.
