[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Jessica & Drew wanted to welcome their guests with quintessential hospitality known for Virginia weddings. The Estate at River Run provided a space of opulence. [/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Drew proposed over coffee while renovating our recently purchased river home on the Rappahannock. We were so excited for the next chapter in our lives bc the river is what brought us together in the first place.

[section title=”The Fashion”]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]I found the dress at Vow’d in Nashville while visiting my brother and his husband. My mom, niece, and sister-in-law were there too! I ended up picking that dress because I felt truly beautiful in it. I loved the simplicity but pure elegance of the gown! And wanted to add detail of the lace from my mothers veil that she wore when she got married 45 years ago.

Jess’ brother, Travis, is one of her best friends, and he was paramount in the finding of the perfect gown, so he was included alongside Jess’ mother, Deborah, in her getting ready moments. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]An oyster bar at cocktail hour was the highlight for the couple, as they met and were engaged on the river so Rappahanock oysters were a must have for them.

The design of an al fresco dinner beneath the stars was executed flawlessly by the LK Events team. They flipped the ceremony space for dinner during cocktail hour and we were all floored by the effortless transition. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Courtney Ingraham blew us all away with the floral arch overlooking the river that was present at both ceremony and as a focal point at the couple’s seats at dinner. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Pearls is standard for a Richmond wedding, and Jessica went with a classic iteration. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Portrait time with the dog’s pup, Honeybee, was one of Jessica’s most memorable moments of the day. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Family is everything to this couple, and there were many shared moments between parent and child, including Jessica with her own parents and also Jessica and Drew with his children. The becoming of a new family together was so tender. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Iconic aerial images of The Estate would not have been possible without the expertise of Kennedy of White Tree Weddings! [/field]
