On her wedding day, Kathryn envisioned the colors and decor seamlessly blending with the serene ambiance of Flora Farms. She opted for a harmonious palette, incorporating abundant greenery and soft sunset hues to complement the natural beauty of the venue. Drawing inspiration from Flora Farms’ picturesque surroundings, Kathryn selected muted tones reminiscent of the setting sun: warm oranges, earthy terracottas, soft yellows, delicate corals, and gentle pinks, interspersed with lush greens. By choosing organic materials and subtle, natural shades, Kathryn ensured that the decor enhanced, rather than detracted from, the enchanting allure of Flora Farms.[/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Kathryn & Mitchell spent a considerable amount of time in Cabo and are huge foodies. Kathryn, in particular, was drawn to the laid-back, authentic farm-to-table atmosphere of Flora Farms, coupled with its exceptional service.

The enchanting ambiance created by a canopy of twinkling lights and the aisle lined with mango groves captured her heart completely.

For Kathryn, it was essential that the wedding decor seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings of Flora Farms. She aimed for an organic aesthetic, ensuring that the chosen colors and materials harmonized effortlessly with the venue’s lush landscape and overall atmosphere.[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Kathryn & Mitchell were both at Columbia Business School and met on a ski trip in Jackson Hole. For the proposal, Kathryn’s sister Kelly and her 11-year-old niece Riley visited her in New York one weekend. Kathryn had anticipated a simple meet-up with her fiancé Mitch at the Plaza Hotel for afternoon tea. However, to her utter surprise, Mitch proposed to her outside the hotel. Overwhelmed by the unexpected proposal, Kathryn found herself in complete shock.

Celebrating the joyful occasion, they indulged in champagne together, oblivious to the fact that Kathryn’s entire family had flown in from Los Angeles to join in the celebration. That evening, a special dinner was arranged exclusively for their immediate families, followed by a grand party attended by all their friends. Little did Kathryn know, Mitch had orchestrated every detail of the elaborate surprise without her knowledge. Reflecting on the experience, Kathryn marveled at how so many people managed to keep the secret from her.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]At Flora Farms, the wedding menu offers a tantalizing journey of flavors. Begin with the Handmade Burrata, where creamy cheese meets the sweetness of roasted butternut squash, the earthiness of sage-pesto, and the crunch of toasted pepitas, all harmonizing atop a bed of peppery arugula, served with a crusty baguette.

Follow this with the refreshing crunch of the Romaine & Radicchio Salad, adorned with shavings of parmesan and a zesty lemon-balsamic dressing, promising a delightful interplay of textures and tastes.

For the main course, indulge in a family-style feast featuring the Pan-Seared Catch of the Day, showcasing tender marinated white beans and a burst of cherry tomato vinaigrette, or opt for the Coal-Roasted Chicken, boasting succulent meat with the bright notes of confit lemon vinaigrette and accompanied by tender baby root vegetables.

The sides elevate the dining experience with Grilled Green Beans tossed in Caesar dressing, topped with a soft boiled egg and parsley-pecorino breadcrumbs, alongside Crispy Crushed Baby Potatoes infused with fresh herbs and served with a zesty lemon-paprika aioli.

Concluding on a sweet note, the wedding cake, adorned with luscious Vanilla Buttercream, awaits to be savored alongside a selection of desserts ranging from traditional Churros to indulgent Chocolate S’mores Tart, ensuring every palate is enchanted till the last bite.[/field]

The bride walked down the aisle to the melody of “A Thousand Years.” After saying “I do,” they exited to the uplifting notes of “Wake Me Up” by Avicii, beautifully interpreted by harp and violin. During the cocktail hour, the ambiance was set by the harmonious melodies of violin and guitar, serenading guests with tunes like “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding, and “If I Lose Myself” by Alesso. The newlyweds made a grand entrance to their reception with boundless energy, accompanied by the electrifying beats of “One More Time” by Daft Punk. Kathryn & Mitchell shared their first dance as a married couple to the timeless classic “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, joyfully singing along with their family and friends. For the Father-Daughter dance, they swayed to the heartfelt melody of “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, while Mitchell danced with his mother to the soul-stirring tune of “Landslide” by Stevie Nicks.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Kathryn’s brother delivered a speech that had the guests in stitches, and to cap it off, he surprised everyone by bringing out a character named Rambo from The Office on the Beach, a hot spot in Cabo. He explained that whenever they visit, they always spend time there, and he wanted to incorporate it as a “Fun Fact” about Kathryn & Mitchell.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]After the wedding, Kathryn expressed that she had never felt so overwhelmed with gratitude and love in her life. She also joked that she had never been so sweaty from the dance floor, as they spent the night dancing alongside their guests.[/field]
