Celebrating The Vibrancy of Mexican Culture at This Autumn Wedding Day in Austin

Marco had already ordered the ring and was planning to propose when my mom was visiting town. I was having a really difficult time with a health scare and Marco wanted to show how much he loved me and would support me through whatever I was going through. I ended up getting good results back, but he wanted to make my week even better so he proposed the day the ring came in cause he couldn’t wait! He proposed at butler park in downtown Austin.

my gown was the vivienne by varca bridal. I got the dress from unbridaled in Austin. I was absolutely in love with the unique design of my dress! The top of the dress was an oversized flower while the bottom of the dress was see through (legs!!!!!! Bow shoes!!!) My second dress was the Kaili dress (silk dress with a deep v neck with a fluffy tulle skirt) from untamed petals, which I paired with the Lexie gloves (light tulle with feathers).

All of the bridesmaids dressed were from different stores, but they all paired well together based on the color palette. Mixed plain dresses with floral dresses in pink, blue, and green. Some store the dresses were from: birdy grey, revelry, pippa & pearl, show me your mumu

Beyond the beautiful design and intentional detail, the couple curated a wedding experience that tantalized the taste buds with a selection of Mexican desserts. From churros, pan dulce and tres leches, the individually served dessert spread at this wedding was a delicious tribute to the rich and diverse flavors of Mexico.

Our florals were by the talented truth and blooms. We wanted an ombré meadow for the aisle, white florals blended to orange and peach tone florals. Our altar florals were in vintage Turkish pots rented from loot. We wanted the design of the ceremony to look like a Mexico City courtyard. We also had papel picado hanging from above! Diana and Marco’s special day unfolded as a tribute to their love for heritage and design, capturing the essence of Mexico's rich traditions through the inclusion of a live mariachi band, personalized maracas and custom designed mojigangas sourced directly from San Miguel de Allende. The couple's unique personality continued to shine through in thoughtful details that adorned the venue. From monogrammed napkins that read “Los Zambranos”, to custom-designed bars and signage, every aspect of the wedding reflected the couple's journey and shared interests.

The couple fed each other churros! To reflect Marco's heritage! We wanted a tres leches cake (a tradition in marcos family) but we weren’t able to have that kind of cake make in the shape I wanted with multiple tiers, so we had quakenbush design a cake cake and then had our caterer served tres leches dessert cups and churros!

Diana and Marco's Mexico-inspired wedding was a visual feast, a celebration that fused tradition with trend in a spectacular display of love and joy. From the lively decor to the spirited entertainment, this fiesta of love will forever be etched in the hearts of all who attended.
