Relaxed Yet Elevated Wedding With Touches of Scottish Influence
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
Maddie knew she pictured a day that felt relaxed yet elevated. She accomplished this feel by incorporating lush florals and greenery, touches of velvet, (two!) fashion-forward wedding gowns, a decadent Tiffany necklace, and formal Scottish attire for the groom, but balanced it with a laid back timeline, bringing her beloved pups to the ceremony, and turning her outdoor ceremony space into a casual lawn to hang out and dance!

The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The bride wore a crepe and organza trumpet style wedding gown design by Ines Di santo. The strapless bodice was sleek and simple and allowed the bride to wear an Emerald tiffany necklace borrowed from her mother without taking away from the dress. The textured ruffles on the bottom of the gown were light and airy, and rippled in the breeze all afternoon.
Groomsman Attire
Jack is from Scotland, so it only made sense to honor his roots by dressing himself (and his groomsmen!) is traditional Scottish tartan kilts and sporrans (the pouches!) that held, what else... flasks of Scottish whiskey!

Food & Drink
From passed champagne and prawns during cocktail hour, to filet mignon for dinner, Maddie and Jack took their decadent wedding theme all the way from florals to food.
Florals & Decor
This well-styled wedding is sure to inspire with lush details that are classic and romantic, but still dramatic. Thousands of stems of roses, anemones, and hydrangeas made up Maddie's romantic bouquet, decadent ceremony arch, lines the long aisle, and donned dinner tables atop velvet and printed linens.
Wedding Cake
A five tiered beauty from Bakers Cottage Cakes had delicately floral printed buttercream and was accented with greenery and blooms from Tailored Twig.
