Western Feminine Flair at Foster Creek Farms

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

Along with Sarah and Tommy’s planning and design team, they had so much fun allowing color to compliment the patterned linens mixed with the natural textures of wood and leather. The overall design was the perfect balance of western feminine flair! Sarah has an amazing sense of style and it is truly showcased in all the details of the wedding.

Proposal Story
"Coldest day in January, Tommy asked me to come tag a new calf with him. I got all bundled up to go outside and first went into the "dairy house" barn to grab the calf tagging box before taking the gator out into the field. As I opened the box to make sure we had everything we needed, Tommy had written on the ear tag "Will you marry me?" I turned around to find him on one knee :)"
The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The bride wore three different gowns! The first one was classic with a statement bow and it brought femininity into their western vibe. The second was a sleek gown with floral pieces that the bride wore for the reception until it was time to change into her short party dress!
The Details
Food & Drink
The food was a combination of the bride and groom's favorite foods, with a western flair. Their specialty cocktails were the brides favorite--a spicy marg and a nod to Montana with the huckleberry Crush. They were complete with branded stirs!
Florals & Decor
Sarah and Tommy were originally planning to host their wedding on Tommy’s home farm in Maryland. But a few months into planning it became clear that a ranch wedding was really what Sarah’s heart was set on.  After a few days and lots of discussion on logistics, Sarah and Tommy talked to their families and decided they wanted to have a destination wedding in Montana! From that moment on, everything fell into place because it was truly the perfect setting for these two. It started with selecting a venue that showcases what western wedding dreams are made of— a mountain ceremony backdrop and clean slate reception space. You can truly transform the space in so many different ways.
Wedding Cake
The cake was a beautiful two tiered cake, simple with florals on it!
Special Detail #1
As a nod to Montana culture, one of Sarah and Tommy's specialty cocktails was the huckleberry crush.
Special Detail #2
The dresses and colors matched the incredible sunset that we were blessed with at the end of their day!
