Palos Verdes Wedding With Dreamy Details And Breathtaking Views

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

In crafting the wedding style, the design team at SoCal Wedding Consultant found inspiration in the serene landscapes of Tuscany, opting for lush organic florals by Flower Allie and marked by light, airy elements with neutral wood tones. Nichole and Frank's vision evoked an upscale family dinner ambiance, blending elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere to create an unforgettable celebration of love.

Proposal Story
It was December 23.2022. Nichole was running around trying to get last-minute Christmas shopping wrapped up. Frank called and said they should go to their favorite spot down in Newport Beach. She had no idea what was in store, she thought he just wanted to kick off Christmas early. They headed down to Balboa Bay Club to catch the sunset and grab some cocktails. After the sunset, they decided to go for a walk around Balboa and look at the lights. They couldn’t find parking so Nichole suggested they go home but Frank persisted. She thought it was weird that he was so adamant about checking out the lights because they had gone just the week before but off they went! Nichole was admiring all the beautiful houses, when Frank took her arm and turned her around to look at a dock that was covered with lights that said "MARRY ME!"

Florals & Decor

Taryn Collins, the lead designer at SoCal Wedding Consultant, and Flower Allie teamed up on an elegant design that integrated White, Cream, Dusty Rose, Powder Pink, Sangria, Greens, and a lovely Mustard color. The cake table and sweetheart table were wreathed with florals. Neutral wood and pearl tones were used throughout the space for a refined Tuscan feel.

Wedding Cake

A little Something Sweet designed a sophisticated white wedding cake complete with a floral waterfall. Florals surrounded the base of the table for a "wow" effect.

Special Detail #1
Dried fruits hand tied with guest names were used as place cards and meal indicators. They emitted a lovely citrus aroma into the air throughout the evening.
Special Detail #2
An Italian wedding tradition: Nichole and Frank used the "five almonds" as their wedding favors. Five almonds signify "five wishes for the couple: health, wealth, happiness, family and a long life."
Special Detail #3

Cindy at C Le Creates integrated white and terracotta pottery to create a stunning, "living" seating chart.
