[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Food and beverage were provided by the Canoe Place, including a signature cocktail named for the couple’s beloved pup – The “Martin-i”, and one named for their home in the city, “The 25th Street”.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
Florals were designed by the incomparable Flowers by Justine. Her designs carried the color palette throughout the entire event, adding fresh pops of color to the interior of the venue, and blending seamlessly into the garden area, where the reception was held under the stars. Standing out in the midst of all of the incredible decor was the custom acrylic escort card display – which was made up of black and white polaroids of the guests throughout their years of knowing the couple. Guests were absolutely delighted, and spent time pouring over the images – even after finding their seat assignment!

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a simple four-tiered, white fondant…with a little nibble on the side coming from an itty-bitty figure of Martin, the couple’s shitzu![/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]While Martin the shitzu was obviously a key player in the wedding day, escorting the bride down the aisle during the ceremony, he was tucked safely away in the couple’s ground level suite for the reception, giving him time to rest. But Martin had other plans. No way was he going to let mom and dad have their first dance without him!
While the bride, Mackenzie, and Groom, Matt, exited through the French doors of their suite to make their introduction at the reception, Martin snuck out right behind them, and scurried onto the dance floor just as the song for their first dance began![/field]
