A Southern Spring Wedding Along the Chattahoochee River
From Evermore Wed: Caroline and Jason had already chosen their venue when they reached out to us for planning and design services. Their chosen venue is a 1000-acre resort nestled along the Chattahoochee River and the pine trees of southwest GA. Taking inspiration from Caroline's classic taste, the indoor/outdoor flow of the venue, and the spring season of the wedding, we gravitated toward a palette of blues and greens, creamy whites, and pops of buttery yellow.
Caroline's dress was Sassi Holford from Ladies of Lineage in Charlotte, NC. Her reception dress from Cinq a Sept.
Bridesmaids were in a mix of floral and satin sage dresses. The floral dresses were from Jenny Yoo and the satin dresses were Amsale.
Jason bought his suit at Men's Warehouse and FOB's suit was custom from Guffey's ATL.
Dinner was hosted in the west ballroom of The Stables. The bridal party was seated at a large estate table adorned with a lush runner of blue hydrangea (the bride's favorite).
The outdoor ceremony took place in front of The Stables at a large white pergola atop a cobblestone courtyard. We wanted to soften the white structure and make it feel as though it had always been there so the florist, Blooming Bouquets, covered it in wispy greenery and soft white blooms. The large ceremony space was made even more intimate with the addition of a greenery and floral covered archway that guests and wedding party entered through. For the reception decor, Each place setting featured the signature blue and white stripe on the napkin as well as on the menu. Each napkin was tied with a Southern Tribute acrylic napkin and gold leaf napkin ring that featured spring elements like magnolia blooms, dragon flies, and bees (a nod to the couples' alma mater Georgia Tech). Classic cut crystal wine glass and water goblet added a bit of tradition to the table.
A stunning cake in signature blue from Frosted Pumpkin Gourmet, Inc. showcased the lace pattern from the bridal gown.
