[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]In the heart of Paso Robles, California, where sprawling vineyards meet endless skies, Sarah, owner and lead planner at Embark Event Design embarked on the most magical journey of her life – designing her own wedding at the picturesque Ella’s Vineyard.

Sarah infused her signature style into every aspect of the wedding. Embracing the serene backdrop of the vineyard, she opted for a palette of soft blues, a nod to classic elegance that complemented the natural surroundings with effortless grace.[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]After producing a multi day wedding weekend, Sarah was exhausted on a September Sunday morning but agreed to go kayaking to unwind. Completely unaware of the big plans that Bobby had for that foggy, cozy morning – Sarah threw on the first thing she saw and hopped in the car. After the couple beached their kayaks on a hidden lighthouse beach that the couple had one of their first dates on, they walked up to the lighthouse and took in the view. Sarah was completely surprised and absolutely over the moon when Bobby pulled out the ring of her dreams and proposed! The couple enjoyed their first engaged moments on the beach and then raced back to call friends and family to celebrate. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]From Sarah – “My favorite detail to design was the ceremony coverlet for my gown – I latched onto the idea years ago and new that I had to create something like it to go with whichever dress I ended up with.”[/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]As the morning sun cast its golden glow over the vineyard, Sarah and her bridesmaids gathered in the classic farmhouse nestled amidst the rows of vines. With laughter echoing through the rustic walls, anticipation hung in the air as they prepared for the day ahead. The bridesmaids took a classic approach with soft neutral dresses and bouquets filled with purity cosmos to add a pop of color. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Sarah & Bobby focused their menu on locally sourced farm to table favorites, including a Santa Maria style tri tip appetizer and a stone fruit summer salad. The couple also served 100 percent local wines, a nod to the vineyard setting![/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]From Sarah – “Designing my day was so much fun! I opted for simple details and a focus on the California vineyard backdrop. We were so grateful to celebrate with our amazing friends and family and forever indebted to the incredible group of creatives below for making our day with the biggest thank you ever to our wedding planner Amanda from Elevate Events who made it all such a dream come true.”[/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The ceremony was set beneath an ancient oak tree, a quintessential landmark on the venue property. Friends and family gathered as Sarah & Bobby exchanged vows filled with sweet promises and rings that promised a lifetime of love. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Sarah has spent her whole career building her business as a luxury wedding planner in California’s wine country. When Sarah met her now husband, Bobby, who is in his first year out of residency as an anesthesiologist, she knew immediately that he was the one. The two met at the height of covid, which made “normal” dating problematic. They spent a lot of time with the bride’s family since going out was not really an option at the time. At the rehearsal dinner the bride’s brother-in-law gave a toast and at the wedding the bride’s sister gave her toast. Unbeknownst to them, they would be making the same joke that they also fell in love with Bobby immediately and “might have cried” when he left that first night.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]While Sarah is used to planning high-end weddings for other couples, planning her own wedding was something a bit different. She knew she would need to bring her wedding vision to life in a way that was true to hers and Bobby’s priorities and uniquities, while still using her expertise to guide that vision to life in a way that all in attendance were proclaiming was extraordinary, sophisticated and FUN. The vibe was both warm and chic with long farm tables adorned with the most beautiful blue floral tablecloths by Theoni. The setting was awe-inspiring since the property sits atop a hill boasting 360 degree views of the vineyards.[/field]
