[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]From the planner: “Sarah & Ross’s wedding was inspired by the natural setting of their celebrations at Breeze Hill Farm, an apple orchard located along the North Fork of Long Island. The destination holds a special place for these newlyweds, as Sarah’s family has a house on the North Fork and she has been visiting the area ever since she was a little girl, so it became a regular destination for the couple throughout their relationship. With that in mind, the two incorporated an illustrated map of the locale on their Save the Dates, created by Paper with Benefits, so their guests could also get to know and love the area.
Leaning into the leaves that adorned the hundreds (if not thousands) of apple trees lining the property, Tracy Taylor Ward designed the couple’s festivities to enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding orchard, from utilizing leaf motifs through every decor element, including the tableware, linens, candelabras, dance floor and even suspended orbs, to incorporating the actual fruit from the property in each table’s design.
As a subtle nod to Sarah and Ross’s love for animals, dogs in particular, Tracy Taylor Ward included two dog statues in the tent’s entryway décor, along with gold dog candle-holders, adding simple yet elegant personal touches to their wedding celebrations.”

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Sarah had begun feeling pressure to be engaged around Valentines Day of 2021. She was hearing from friends and family that it was time to get things moving! One night after dinner, Sarah began asking Ross if they were ever going to get engaged. Ross took it like a champ – knowing he had already purchased a ring and was planning on proposing in a few weeks. Ross then left for a business trip in CA — when he came back on Friday, he had rose petals all over their apartment and a bottle of champagne, with the ring box sitting in the bucket! Sarah was totally surprised and immediately apologized and the rest is history![/field]
