With a focus on heartfelt moments, Kaleigh and Tim’s wedding day encompassed the beauty of Vermont with graceful outdoor spaces and a serene state of mind. The celebration was hosted at Edson Hill. The property’s thirty acres of forest provided a peaceful landscape of trees alongside charming manor guest houses. “My one wish for our wedding was to create small moments within the big event. We are lucky to have large families, but we also knew that would increase our guest count, and I was worried about getting lost in the ‘big wedding.’ We started the weekend by having a small catholic ceremony with just our families — followed by a family dinner. We had our rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, a morning walk with the bride, the reception, and brunch. These smaller moments truly allowed Tim and I to have meaningful conversations with our guests who traveled to Vermont to celebrate with us.”

Kaleigh and Tim first met at “Country Thursday” night at a tavern in Boston. They set up a date two weeks later and haven’t looked back since. Throughout their eight years of dating, they’ve finished graduate school as well as weathered the pandemic together, supporting each other through it all. In 2022, they went for a walk through the seaport in Boston. Routinely, the couple would walk to brunch or a SoulCycle class, but on this day, Tim proposed! He surprised Kaleigh that day with a gathering of their closest family and friends to celebrate their engagement.

Kaleigh wore a custom wedding gown by Allison Webb that combined classic floral jacquard fabric with a timeless fitted silhouette. The bow on the back added drama as the tails extended out beyond the train. “We worked with Flair in Boston and had a great experience. I loved that we were able to customize the dress from the top to the pattern to the bow. I wanted a dress that fit me and the setting of a tented wedding in Vermont. It was just perfect, and I loved dancing the night away in the dress.”

The couple held an intimate church ceremony with an aisle lined in blue and white larkspur fanned out to each side. A dreamlike outdoor reception was draped in ivory fabrics from the tent. These fabrics also created elegant “doorways” along the open sides of the space for a luxurious dining experience. Aptly labeled “The people and places that shaped us,” their escort card display was created from a flower box wall. Floral arrangements, set in polished glass vases, made their way across a memorial wall display, and danced along the bar. White fringed chandeliers and greenery hung above the tables, which were set with light blue patterned tablecloths. Outdoor lounge spaces were set near the pines for guests to enjoy.

Kaleigh and Tim served a lemon berry wedding cake with mixed-berry jam and lemon buttercream.

It was our first concert we went to together, and when the band started to play the song – everyone sang along, and we truly just loved dancing to it!”[/field]
