An Intimate 45-Person Wedding at Park Winters Where Love Is in the Details

[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The bride loved the idea of neutrals as a base with subtle pops of pinks and yellows throughout the florals. We teamed up with Paulina of Fig And Vine who nailed her vision with the beautiful arrangements at ceremony and dinner.[/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Rochelle and Peter envisioned an intimate gathering much like a dinner party for their special day. They wanted the day to really revolve around them and their love story vs. everyone else, so they decided to invite only those closest to them which ended up being about 45 people. The small group paired with the stunning ground of Park Winters, could not have been a more perfect combination![/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Rochelle decided not to have an official bridal party but still wanted her girls to get ready with her. She also wanted to make sure they all got photos together. She did not coordinate any of their dresses but somehow they ended up going perfectly together! The group of girls grabbed a few parasols and had so much fun taking photos with Meghan Baskin during cocktail hour — this was definitely a very special moment of the day! Just because you don’t have an official bridal party, doesn’t mean you can’t have the best time with your closest gals![/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]One of our favorite parts of the day was the passed sparkling wine for guests as they entered the event, pre ceremony. This really set the tone for an elegant garden party wedding and was such a surprise and delight for guests as they entered.

Going along with the dinner party vibe, the couple decided to go with a family style meal, especially with their layout of two long dinner tables. Dinner was really the focal point of the event, not necessarily because of the food, but because they loved the idea of everyone sitting together and just spending time with one another. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]We wanted the florals to make a statement but also didn’t want to overdo it because of how beautiful the venue is! We decided to go with a floor semi circle at the altar which wrapped around the couple and then two extra large arrangements at the back of the aisle to make a statement with the chairs and the parasols. For dinner, we went a bit more dainty and minimal with pretty bud vases and a lot of candles which complimented the string lights above the table. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Instead of a wedding cake, Rochelle and Peter decide to have a gelato cart! This was such a fun moment for guests post dinner and they were able to get the cutest photos![/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Rochelle and Peter decided to write letters to each one of their guests which doubled as a place card at each guests’ seat. They worked with Kelly of Paper By The Bay to bring this vision to life. Kelly also created beautiful details to include bar signage and the cutest reserved signs that hung perfectly on our ceremony chairs.[/field]
