Summer Wedding At Sunstone Villa Filled With Refined Elegance
Meeri and Alex envisioned their wedding as a blend of the refined elegance reminiscent of a modern garden soirée at Lake Como, with the lively spirit of an all-night celebration.
The bride radiated elegance in a breathtaking gown from Galia Lahav, sourced from Kinsley James Couture Bridal. She complemented her detailed dress with a flowing veil, also crafted by Galia Lahav. The Bride later changed into another gown for her reception from Anne Barge.
The bride and groom curated an unforgettable culinary experience for their guests, with drinks expertly crafted by liquid cult and mouthwatering appetizers and dishes prepared by Field Table. From Liquid Cult's signature cocktails to Field Table's delectable array of appetizers and main courses, every sip and bite added a touch of gourmet flair to the celebration, delighting the senses and creating lasting memories for all who attended.
This concept evolved into a sophisticated Academia-inspired aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the visual allure of the Bridgerton TV series, while intentionally integrating contemporary elements to ensure it remained timeless rather than overly period-centric. Choosing Sunstone Villa as the venue provided the perfect canvas for our vision. We curated a design palette infused with old-world charm and academic motifs, incorporating vintage books, delicate gold accents, classical bust statues, heraldic crests, and abundant florals. To maintain a harmonious balance, we juxtaposed these traditional elements with minimalist tabletop pieces and sleek, clean furnishing.
The bride and groom opted for a captivating champagne tower drink instead of a traditional wedding cake. Accompanied by a delectable assortment of sweets and a gelato station, their celebration was a sweet symphony of unique flavors and delightful treats, ensuring a memorable culinary experience for all.
While our aesthetic paid homage to academia and tradition, we were careful to ensure that the overall experience was anything but conventional. To infuse the celebration with energy and excitement, we enlisted the talents of DJ, Truthlive, and saxophonist Justin Ward Music. Their dynamic collaboration electrified the atmosphere, captivating guests and igniting the dance floor well into the night. The result was a wedding that exceeded expectations, with Meeri, Alex, and their guests reveling in every detail and moment.
After the Paebaek ceremony the couple was joined by friends and family for a nice dinner at the SY Kitchen and celebration that took place at The Landsby.
