The wildflowers were a mix of spring floral colors, yellows, pastels, pinks. It all came together with Veronica Cicero of Anthology Floristry . Each vessel was slightly different from the Sicillian handmade pottery.

Once engaged, they landed on a “springtime Italian dinner party” aesthetic for their April wedding and chose Vizcaya Museum And Gardens as their venue.

Maria fell in love with the first Costarellos gown she tried on and paired it with sandals from The Row and pearl earrings by Satomi Kawakita. There was an effortless timeless feel to Maria’s look.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Guests were greeted with glasses of agua fresca. For appetizers the couple selected mini polpette, scallops, tuna carpaccio and carciofi. Guests dined on radicchio salad, filet mignon or branzino. They toasted with French 75 and Aperol Spritzes.[/field]

The bride chose wildflowers including daisies, baby’s breath, and zinnias for her floral and decor. She wanted to incorporate her vision of a Springtime Italian Dinner Party Wedding. They wanted to enhance the beautiful lush landscape of the Vizcaya Museum And Gardens. They added a personal touch of color with our wildflowers along the aisles and scattered petals throughout.

At one point in the night, David’s brother, father, and a few close friends delightfully surprised the two on stage by singing and playing their own rendition of “Stand By Me”.
