Clean Lines and a Timeless Palette at Vinoy Resort & Golf Club

Alison and James' wedding vision included clean lines, taupe linens, vivid white florals, and the most elegant modern gold details. This design paired perfectly with the selected ceremony and reception space, creating a romantic fairytale setting to celebrate their start to forever!

Alison's wedding gown was purchased at The Dressing Room in St. Petersburg. The A-Line shape and delicate floral lace, complimented the couples wedding vision and made this bride feel like she was living her fairytale. The gown even brought James to tears during their private first look, when he was presented with his stunning bride for the first time!

Guests were greeted at the ceremony with a welcome glass of champagne presented on a hedge wall, providing a lovely first impression. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed passed hors d'ouvers, cocktails and conversations on the lovely Esplanade. For dinner guests received a duo- entree of Red wine Braised Short Rib & Seared Grouper. This was accompanied by Cauliflower Risotto, roasted asparagus, and white wine butter sauce. The Vinoy Resort offers delicious meals and top notch service leaving your guests with a 5 star dining experience!

Organic centerpieces flooded the space in the Grand Ballroom, along with floral hedges and romantic candlelight. Velvet chairs outlined in gold brought more modern and clean lines to each setting. The gold-rimmed chargers complimented the gold-rimmed glassware like a match made in heaven. Patterned napkins topped with vellum menus were also a perfect pair. Overall, the reception was stunning down to each detail.

The wedding cake was a 5 tiered masterpiece created by Hands on Sweets. The middle layer displayed the most beautiful monochromatic floral design, and was accented by blush and white florals and dainty greenery. Even the simplest of details in cake designs can create a big impact! The selected flavor was pink champagne cake with raspberry coulis and raspberry buttercream!
