Boho Accents and Bold Bougainvillea at Carlouel Yacht Club

In the early chapters of their love story, Steve asked Katie to be his girlfriend amidst the breathtaking scenery of Aspen, Colorado. It was a place that held a deep significance in their relationship, and Steve had always known that he wanted to take their commitment to the next level in this very location. Two years had passed since their first date, and on a tranquil morning, they embarked on a picturesque hike to Maroon Bells. On the quiet mountain, Steve got down on one knee and asked Katie to spend forever with him! This was a beautiful beginning to their journey to forever.

Katie said yes to her dress at The Bridal Collection in Denver! Her gown was simply stunning with a heart shape neckline and a tool skirt that was layered beautifully creating a fairytale flare. Her look was completed with a beautiful veil lined with delicate lace details adding more elegance to her overall bridal style.

To compliment the vibrant colors in the wedding design, the bridesmaids wore shades of pink, coral, and magenta. Each gown effortlessly brought the theme to life, creating a harmonious ensemble that contributed to the overall theme of the wedding day.

For their menu, the couple selected a family style meal. The first course included a selection between a caprese salad and spinach salad. The entrees included Braised Beef Short Rib, Chilean Sea Bass, and Vegan Bolognese accompanied by Creamy Grits, Broccoli, and Rainbow Carrots. These selections were perfect in easily accommodating common dietary restrictions. The couple offered an Aperol Spritz as their specialty cocktail, which we think matched the wedding aesthetics perfectly!

Designed by MMD Events, this wedding was nothing short of spectacular. The wedding day included the most beautiful bursts of color throughout the design. The ceremony was set with a beautiful ocean backdrop. The couple was framed by a white arch accented with bright blooms of pinks and corals. Cocktail hour was adjacent to the ceremony keeping the panoramic ocean views. Centered was a beautiful round pink bar from Vivant Rentals that was designed to perfection creating a major visual impact to this space. Above the bar stood a pergola structure created by Infinity Event Solutions, coated with bougainvillea blooms. Hanging from the structure was macrame chandeliers bringing the boho touches to complete the bar. Bloom Shakalaka adorned the sailcloth reception tent with italian ruscus greenery, floral accents, and an assortment of rattan chandeliers. Below the tables were dressed in pattered linens (BBJ La Tavola and Nuage Designs) and layered place settings (Treasury Rentals) bringing whimsical yet elegant details. Following dinner, guests were directed inside to where Aspen met Florida. The ballroom was transformed into the couples very own ski lodge, a theme that played a special role in their love story.

The 4 tiered wedding cake created by Hands on Sweets was simple yet stunning and was cohesive with the design of the day. The soft pink hue and cascading bougainvillea florals were the perfect pair.
