[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Classic and timeless meets garden-party set on a coastal landscape. The design of Olivia and Ross’ stunning Seaside wedding was the perfect combination of southern garden romance with a splash of spring color. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]On a trip to Paris, we were walking along the Seine River on the way to lunch and Ross stopped and got down on one knee. It was secluded enough to be a special and private moment between the two of us. We walked around Paris for the rest of the day, taking pictures and enjoying the city together! Paris is my favorite city in the world and was the perfect place to celebrate our engagement. I knew I wanted to get married in Seaside, FL. My family goes to 30A during the summer, and we have such happy memories there. It meant so much to have all our friends and family come from out of state and celebrate the start of our marriage in such a special place. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]I purchased my Suzanne Neville gown at Blue Bridal Boutique in Austin, TX. I found the designer several years ago on Pinterest and fell in love with her romantic and timeless design, especially the floral applique details. I wanted a timeless silhouette with a touch of embellishment, and the floral applique was perfect! [/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]I gave my bridesmaids some general guidelines, like “pastel” and “floral,” but the rest was up to them. It was so fun to give the final approval on their choices. I didn’t want traditional bridesmaid’s dresses and thought it would be more fun for my friends to choose something they feel good in and would wear again! [/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Ross wore a black tux with white dinner jacket from Jos. A. Banks. The white dinner jacket was perfect for a Springtime wedding at the beach. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]We wanted to incorporate as much seafood as possible since we were on the coast! Bud & Alley’s served mini crab cakes during the Cocktail Hour and one of the entree choices was Pan-Seared Gulf Red Snapper, which is always a treat when it’s available!
Our signature drink was called a “Georgie-rita” named after our Golden Retriever, George. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]I asked my planner, Ashley, and florist to draw our color scheme from “seaglass.” I wanted the design to be coastal and classic, but not too beachy. I incorporated a lot of the rattan from our home (chargers and napkin rings) and bamboo chairs to give texture to the overall design. Our florist knocked it out of the park with the flower arch at the Seaside Chapel. It was lush and overflowing with greenery and fresh flowers. Our couple photos in front of the Seaside Chapel with that beautiful arch, are easily our most favorite photos from the photographer’s gallery. We loved the colorful tabletop flowers, too! The florist created beautiful arrangements with pink and orange flowers that ended up being such bright and colorful additions. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]We decided on a classic buttercream, 3-tier wedding cake with non-traditional flavors. Ross chose fun-fetti for one of the layers. It’s his favorite and he always requests it for his birthday! I chose my favorite flavor, Strawberry. The cake slice colors were perfect because they matched our whole design, and guests loved the unexpected flavors. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]We included our dog, George, where we could. We got him when we first started dating and have raised him together. We named the signature drink after him, had the cutest stir sticks with his picture, the bar sign featured him, and of course, we had a George figurine taking a bite out of the cake!
He was so fun to have around while we were getting ready, as if he knew that it was a big day for us! He even forced himself onto the bus with me on the way to the First Look! He is such a big part of our lives and I couldn’t imagine the day without him.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]I worked with a designer, @chloedesignsthings, on the day-of signage. She made the escort cards, place setting cards, and welcome sign. We incorporated the scalloped edge on a lot of the signage, which reminded me of waves. We used seashells to hold the name cards at each place setting. I also used a coastal-inspired coffee table book, “Escape” by Gray Malin, as our guest book. It’s such a beautiful book to display in our home, with special messages from the day. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]We had a blast on our getaway Beach Buggy! We rented a white Moke for the grand exit, and hung a Just Married sign on the back. The no-mess confetti exit made the best photos at the end of the night. We loved our wedding experience from start to finish- it was perfect. [/field]
