James Bond Inspired New England Garden Wedding

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
This couple truly wanted to have an English garden inspired wedding with a touch of retro Bermuda vibes. They chose a historic estate in New England that has luscious gardens and accented all of their design elements with overgrown greenery and floral arrangements. The motif for their wedding was James Bond, not only because the groom was from England, but his last name is Bond.
The Fashion
Wedding Gown

The bride's gown was found in the incredible and beautiful bridal shop Bridals By Lori. The bride went with her closest friends for a beautiful trip to see Lori. She selected a beautiful ballgown by Valentini Sposi.

Bridesmaid Dresses
The bridesmaid all wore different shades of blue gowns in different necklines and styles! They had the best accessory for photographs: parasols!!
Groomsman Attire
The grooms and groomsmen all wore navy and black tuxes.
The Details
Food & Drink
The couple wanted to let their backgrounds shine through their food. During cocktail hour it was the perfect combination of New England, England and Bermuda. They featured classics from New England such Lobster Rolls and Scallops to showing a true not to England with Petite Beef Wellingtons. Their signature drinks are staples of the Caribbean: Rum Swizzle and Dark and Stormy. They even ended their evening by serving a late night Sausage Cart as a nod to Fenway Park.
Florals & Decor

It was truly one of my favorite weddings to design. This couple allowed their English garden vision to brought to life by the florals and the estate. We had beautiful overgrown garden arrangements for the ceremony, to the framed floral entrance of the tent to their stunning centerpieces. We incorporated so many elements to bring England to the states including vintage post box and telephone booth. Their crest was a nod to England's crown which was on their invitations, menu and cups. They even had badminton available for guests to play throughout the evening. As a nod to their home in Bermuda, we had vintage Veuve boxes, black and white dance floor and rattan chandeliers with touches of greenery.

Wedding Cake
The wedding cake was inspired by classic and timeless vibe. It was a three tier masterpieces decked with edible pearls.
Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs
The carried their James Bond inspired music throughout the evening. Their entire cocktail hour was music from James Bond films. They were introduced to the James Bond Theme song and event their first dance song was Nobody Does it Better by Carly Simon!

Special Detail #2
Their card box was a vintage post box from England and their seating chart/photobooth was displayed on an English phone booth!!
