Colorful and Energetic Spring Wedding at the Hillside Estate

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

Sara and Payson trusted the direction of their planners at Gathered Events with the design for their special day. The design included a variety of colorful florals throughout their estate venue. The colors really popped against the beautiful white walls. The chapel ceremony and seated dinner included a variety of pink florals and textures. The reception design included a standing cocktail area and two tents. One of the tents included a variety of tables and lounge areas for those who wanted to take a dance break or continue their dinner conversations. The other tent was all about the party. It was made complete with a colorful ceiling installation, disco balls, a hat wall, and the musical talent of the Dry Water Band.

The Fashion
Wedding Gown
Sara's gown was from Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon in Dallas, TX. It included beautiful lace detailing with a bit of sparkle.
The Details
Food & Drink

Mama's Medicine kept the party going from guest arrival, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance party. Guests enjoyed delicious craft cocktails throughout the evening and as the dance party progressed, espresso martinis even made their way out on the dance floor. Blue Fire Total Catering provided a delicious seated meal for guests as they were seated comfortably at their long tables.

Florals & Decor
Wedfully Yours and Gathered Events dreamed up the most beautiful design and florals for Sara and Payson's wedding day. The ceremony design included a variety of pink roses and other florals that offered additional colors and texture. The ceremony included custom pink flooring for the aisle, a beautiful detail made even better by the floral that lined each side.
Wedding Cake

Butterfly Cakery provided a delicous and beautiful cake. It was located as one of the center points of the ballroom where dinner was held. The cake table was lined with colorful florals. Behind the cake was the window where you could see the floral and entrance into the reception tents.

Special Detail #1
Sara wanted to surprise her groom during the reception. She contracted the mascot for the Dallas Cowboys, Rowdy the horse. He came and danced several songs with the couple and their guests during the dance party as Dry Water Band performed.
Special Detail #2

Sara is so happy that she decided to do a first look. She told herself that she never would do one, but listened to the advice of her planners and is beyond grateful that she and Payson were able to share this special moment on their wedding day. She said it was, "THE BEST and most special moment of my entire life. I loved every single second of our wedding, but this moment will forever be a core memory."
