Gorgeous Garden-Inspired Wedding At Abigail Kirsch Tappan Hill Mansion

Garden Inspired - Katherine found the perfect dress from House of Savin, one that hand-painted florals, and everything played off of that, including her escort card display, florals, and day of stationery.

Jimmy and Katherine got engaged in Connecticut right before the Fourth of July weekend, Katherine’s favorite holiday. Katherine’s parents were in town for the weekend, so they wanted to pick up lobster rolls and wine for a picnic. Jimmy and Katherine went for a walk to the water before the start of the picnic, where he popped the question before Katherine’s parents and siblings came out to take pictures. Later that day, Jimmy surprised Katherine with a few of her closest friends and family at his house, and his parents hosted a lovely party. They celebrated their engagement all weekend with friends and family and danced.

The wedding gown was from House of Savin at Lovely Bride NYC, the flowers were hand-painted.

The couple wanted a meadow look for their ceremony. A lush mix was placed in u -shape at the altar and also at every other row. A mixture of lush flowers with taper or candles with low centerpieces completed the reception look. The sweetheart table was embellished with flowers from the ceremony, as well as a greenery candle backdrop. All tables were completed with gorgeous linens and chargers from BBJ La Tavola as well as custom menus and table numbers from Write Pretty For Me.

The dress! Which then gave us the idea for the escort card display. Katherine found the perfect seed packets that doubled as favors. Alane from Write Pretty For Me wrote the names and table assignments. Ashley from Damselfly created the backdrop, and my team, Danielle Caldwell Events, assembled it.
