As Hanna & Matt's planner, I knew hosting a wedding in Napa would feature their overall romantic yet modern aesthetic. Stanly Ranch was the perfect setting as it was a new Auberge property highlighting modern furnishings, which Hanna & Matt loved yet provided an exceptional elevated guest experience for their closest people. Hanna is a true romantic & traditionalist at heart, so I wanted to keep the wedding flowers lush to soften Stanly Ranch's modern architecture.
From the bride... When he popped the question, Matt and I, college sweethearts, were celebrating seven years of dating. Matt had just graduated from law school and taken the bar exam, and I had just won an award at work. So, we jetted off to Maui, Hawaii, to celebrate. On our second day in paradise, we went walking along Baldwin Beach before dinner, where I stumbled upon the most romantic setup—a blanket covered in rose petals, accompanied by a chilled bottle of champagne and two awaiting glasses. Matt took my hand and dropped to one knee and, with the ocean behind him, asked me to marry him. It was the easiest "yes!" of my life. We kept the party going with a fantastic dinner at Mama's Fish House. The rest of our vacation was spent alone, celebrating our newly engaged status... the stuff dreams are made of!
From the bride... The dress is a princess-inspired gown by Berta. The strapless gown has shimmering fabric and a subtle floral lace pattern over the bodice, trailing down to the top of the wedding dress skirt. A modern twist on this classic silhouette is the high leg slit, adding a touch of allure to achieve the classic and elegant look I envisioned. To complete the look, I wore sparkly Cinderella slipper-inspired heels by Jimmy Choo, along with a long, simple wedding veil and drop earrings. It's the ideal combination of timeless and sexy that I had envisioned!
From the bride... My bridesmaids wore rose gold satin dresses, each choosing a style that suited them best. They paired the dresses with simple gold jewelry and strappy neutral heels, creating a chic and coordinated look.
