The design vibe we went for is organic, timeless and elegant with natural elements like rattan and wicker as accents. Think country cottage by the sea! We added in accents of lemons for a color pop and to help lean into that countryside chic vibe.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Nate did a surprise proposal in Ojai, CA at Meditation Mount. Alana planned the trip for his 30th birthday, so she wasn’t expecting anything. When he was fidgety at the meditation center, Alana essentially shushed him, pointed to people she thought were meditating, looked back at him, he was down on one knee and the folks Alana thought had been meditating started taking photos. It was magical.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The bride and groom chose specialty cocktails of a Spicy Margarita and Mojito. Being seaside, guests enjoyed fresh seafood of jumbo prawns and oysters during cocktail hour. A plated meal was served for dinner of sea bass and filet mignon. In addition to wedding cake, a dessert bar was on display with mini eclairs, tarts, French macarons, and creme puffs.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
The florals went with the romantic and timeless theme and Lily Roden Floral Studio created such beautiful texture among the all white floral color palette. Flower varieties such as garden roses, chamomile and ranunculus was used along with climbing vines of smilax to give that “naturally grown” garden vibe. The ceremony arch was anchored by filled wicker baskets and fresh lemons spilling out on the ground. Inside the ballroom, we accented all of the venue’s chandeliers with fresh greenery to bring the outdoors in. Embroidered linens accents the long tables with sage green napkins and rattan chargers. Natural wood accented flatware and botanical accents on the dinner menu added a special touch. Freshly potted plants in terracotta pots were also introduced as part of the centerpieces, along with fresh slices of lemons. The whole room was so fragrant!
