Inspired Fall Romance At 620 Loft and Garden
The jumping-off point for designing this day started with thinking about the regality of St. Patrick's Cathedral, which was crafted in the 1800’s and inspired by European architecture. The goal was to blend modern-day New York with an old-world architectural style and bring some nods to the season. This day was curated by planner and designer, Britt Jones Co., and captured by Yuliya Jul.
When an iconic rooftop garden meets a moody fall palette, we are introduced to this tasteful, autumnal wedding inspiration in New York City. 620 LOFT AND GARDEN serves some of the best views in Manhattan and is the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding in the city.
Both the ceremony and reception gowns worn were Viktor and Rolf. The ceremony gown had a more sleek satin look to it but had the most wow-factor moment with the train and bow back. The reception gown was a tiered tulle dress with the most beautiful high neckline. This dress was so beautifully crafted, and it actually reminded the vendor team of a chandelier. Little do you know, there are actually hand-drawn chandeliers on the invite suite to tie the whole look together.
Rather than choosing blatant fall colors like red, orange, and yellow, the design team of Britt Jones Co. and Nava Floral went for a more intentional approach, bringing in plums, mauves, and soft pinks. The softer, subtle colors created a romantic, autumnal garden look on this one-of-a-kind rooftop. Real plums were added to the reception table to offset the softer-colored pink linens.
