Fun & Contemporary Wedding in Normandy, France

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The overall design aesthetic of the wedding day was joyful, modern, elegant and haute gamme fashion! It was important to the couple to create a real party vibe atmosphere.[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]The couple met through a mutual friend at a birthday party! They both started their careers at the same company (the bride was in New York and the groom was in London) and the groom was living with a friend of the bride’s from New York. The bride had had multiple dinners with the groom’s roommate and even been to his apartment for a house party and never met him.

The groom proposed on their way to Spain and they were able to celebrate for a full week in Madrid and Seville![/field]

Grand Chemin was the couple’s chosen caterer. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour that featured passed hors d’oeuvres, truffle risotto freshly cooked in a wheel of Parmesan, and, of course, wine and champagne. Signature drinks included a Pimm’s Cup and an Aperol Spritz. For their multi-course dinner, guests dined on beet ravioli, fillets of veal, and what seemed like a never-ending buffet of desserts!

The couple incredible floral design featured various varieties of garden roses, peonies, iris, lisianthus, delphiniums, and larkspur. The design of the deconstructed arch was echoed in the fireplace mantle installation in the dining room. BayaFlor & Design really created something special!
