[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Soft and romantic tones of ocean, grey-blue, and London fog with touches of blush, taupe, terra cotta and dusty cinnamon with accents of brushed gold.[/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Wishing, hoping & praying under a sea of stars. Guests were asked to breathe in the beauty of old world charm and enchantment, as fragrant sprawling florals appeared to be pulled from an english countryside paired with warm wood textures and soft velvet blue tapestries. Soft candlelight danced among the stars where classic romance married modern whimsy touches. The sweet scent of cloud like cotton candy engulfed the room as the love of family and faith traditions invited guests to sit down & stay awhile, enjoying this incredibly special day. A beautiful marriage of past, present & future- embraced traditions that came before & the inspiring dreams of what is to come as their love moves from days to weeks, to months and then years. Hidden playful star details and hand written calligraphy wove their way throughout the day enriching the experience. In synchronized harmony with their guests, gorgeous textile patterns rhythmically danced as they celebrated the love in the air, under a canopy of stars, dancing the night away!

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The bride and groom chose fun specialty cocktails for guests to sip on throughout the night! He chose a “Bee’s Knee’s while she chose a fun take on a Strawberry Aperol Spritz![/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]When an unexpected winter rain storm comes rolling in on your wedding day you, you find ways to still keep the party going! Guests sat down at the church turned event venue underneath a sea of hanging stars with greenery and florals to watch the sweet couple say their vows. While we planned to have cocktail hour outside under what we thought would be a sunny California day, we quickly transitioned to a white tent with heaters to keep the guests nice and cozy! Intimate lounges created warmth in the tent with marble and brass cocktail tables and soft velvet linens. Guests were able to grab a drink at their bar of choice! They were welcomed to grab a glass of champagne from the champagne tower or a yummy cocktail at the blue + white star tiled bar.

Guests were welcomed into the reception by the live band and sat down to a beautifully curated mix of wood trestle tables and cadet velvet linens. White rimmed chargers with nude dinner and salad plates were mixed with blue stone dinner plates paired with gold flatware and gold rimmed glassware. A crisp white napkin was folded on top of the setting with a delicate pampas detail and hand calligraphed place cards. Lush arrangements in terra cotta vases were paired with soft blue potted florals and lots of warm candlelight.

Guests danced the night away under in what felt like a beautiful sea of stars![/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]A three tiered black tie chocolate and funfetti cake was beautifully decorated in shades of ocean blue and crisp white with 3d floral appliqués and gold touches! [/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Keeping things classic in style at the ceremony both Cannon in D and Moon River played as the bridal party and family made their way down the aisle while things took more of a modern turn for the Recessional playing “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]To play to our couple’s love of the movie Grand Budapest Hotel, guests were gifted pink favor boxes with star ornaments as they walked into the reception and “checked in” to find their tables. A fun elevator display and service desk greeted the guests saying “Going Up, Going Up” adorned with romantic florals. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Rather than opting for a traditional bouquet toss, our bride wanted to give more of the ladies a chance to catch her bouquet! Walking out to the center of the dance floor with what looked like to be a bouquet of white roses she surprised guests when she tossed the bouquet back and single stems were thrown instead allowing more to have their own moment.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]A fun neon sign that read “City of Stars” greeted guests outside as they walked into the venue. When they went to head out for the night the sign was lit up amongst the rainy night sky creating a dreamy and romantic moment! [/field]
