[field title=”Wedding Colors”]For the wedding colors, the couple wanted it to be classic white, with mirrored details and warm tones that matched the brides warm and loving personality. The warmer tones were incorporated with natural unfinished wood elements to help make the space feel more intimate with a large guest count. [/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]As a former lead wedding planner Bailey’s goal was that when guests walked through the room, there was an eye-catching moment every few feet. The vision for their ceremony centered around a stunning mirrored aisle with acrylic infinity chairs that made the space look as if the bride was walking on water. The mirrored aisle was intertwined into details throughout the entire night. For example, when guests walked into our reception, there was a large custom round bar with mirrored, lattice details that also matched our mirrored, lattice stage front. We also had a completely mirrored seating chart along with a custom mirrored, checkered acrylic dancefloor that sat underneath a mirrored sided floral chandelier. It was my goal to have a timeless yet modern wedding that we can look back on for years to come.[/field]

The wedding dress was from a gorgeous local bridal boutique called Chantilly Okc in Oklahoma City. It was a stunning fitted lace gown with the sweetest tulle bows that draped over the top of her shoulders.

Cocktail hour appetizers consisted of sweet corn elote hush puppies with sriracha aioli, smoked salmon cannolis, charcuterie cones with assorted cheeses and grilled vegetables, and capers salad skewers with a balsamic glaze. The first plated course was the caterer’s signature 501 salad that had mixed greens, toasted pumpkin seeds, feta cheese, and sliced green apple topped with lemon vinaigrette. The second course consisted of a dual entree of slow-braised short ribs with red wine Demi glaze and blackened airline chicken breast with caper cream sauce. Garlic parmesan, whipped potatoes, and green beans accompanied the plated entree.

To maintain a classic creamy white color palette, both spaces were filled to the brim with white hydrangeas, tulips, cherry blossom trees, tibet roses, lilies, and orchids. The bride’s bouquet was also a gorgeous delicate bundle of sweet pea, her personal favorite. The custom clear acrylic head table was filled with over 4,000 white roses and floating candles all the way down. Crystal candelabra’s stretched all the way down guest tables. Globe tea lights hung from the elevated hydrangea runners, cherry blossom trees and the mirrored chandelier. The square framed floral chandelier was enclosed with mirrored accents and filled with cherry blossom branches, hydrangeas, and orchids. It hung over the mirror-checkered dance floor. The couple also wanted their timeless yet modern reception to feel warm and inviting. To do so, they incorporated a natural finish, a King Louis chair with ratton backs. The ratton texture also inspired the lattice details on their bar and stage front, which was custom-made by Mood Party Rentals. The mirrored ceremony aisle was also brought into their mirrored acrylic seating chart, as well as the mirrored inserts on the lattice bar and stage front.

Renowned cake artist Amy Cakes made a six-tiered classic white wedding cake. The cake was decorated with white wafer sugar flowers, and some of the flavors included white wedding, chocolate, and strawberry.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The bride suprised the groom with a cake inspired by his treasured homemade flame thrower he made out of a toy nerf gun while they were in college. She also had the actual flamethrower waiting in the wings for him to demonstrate on the empty dance floor for all their guest. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Bailey has actually been working in the wedding industry for the last 5 years as a lead planner for Fete Nuptials & Gatherings in Oklahoma City. Not only did she choose Aspen Ranch for their special day, over the course of her planning process she became our weddings & events manager. Being in the wedding industry made planning her own wedding that more special. She was able to take her experiences and really bring her vision to life. She spent many hours going over every little detail with an incredible vendor team that truly made their day so special. [/field]
