A Modern Romantic Fairytale Wedding At Lowndes Grove
Representative Deon Tedder, the groom, is a state representative for District 42 in Charleston, South Carolina, and his bride, Dr. Jillian Tedder, a local dentist, are a beloved couple that the community as a whole was so thrilled to see married, and this wedding would be the culmination of celebrating their story and their families and friends. The overall vision for this wedding day was to be something classic, romantic, and an ode to Charleston - showing off both the history and beautiful landscapes that surround Lowndes Grove. The couple wanted something that was both formal and approachable - making sure their guests felt comfortable while enjoying a stunning event at one of Charleston's most well-known venues.
The bride's dress was a Justin Alexander that she purchased from Bridal House of Charleston. She fell in love with the romantic applique adorned on the veil and the romantic silhouette that was the perfect match for this affair.
The bridesmaid's dresses were from Bella Bridesmaids. The perfect complementary color to the wedding vision, their dresser, Alexandra Moreau, made sure to arrive and give each girl their own individual styling of the dress, ensuring that they were not only perfectly flattering but also showed off each bridesmaid's individual style.
The food and drink were provided by Lowndes Grove(PPHG) and was a total culinary celebration of foods we love from Charleston. Including refreshing spritzers and lemon drops, old-fashioned's partnered with chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, and all the amazing southern staples, guests were treated to a perfect Charleston dining experience on the water.
The florals took a romantic approach with baby's breath and lush roses, two of the bride's favorites. With the natural beauty that surrounds Lowndes Grove, these florals were more of a perfect complement, making a big impact where needed and feeling like a natural extension of the grounds simultaneously.
