[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]For Shine & Kyonghoon’s wedding, the couple wanted to create a dreamy and classic atmosphere while infusing just a hint of modernity. To achieve this design and vibe, A la Chloe carefully selected a palette of soft pastels such as blush pink, lavender, and pale blue. These colors were incorporated into every element of the wedding, from the floral arrangements featuring delicate roses and orchids to the table settings adorned with beautiful linens from BBJ La Tavola. To add a touch of modernity, the ceremony arch, which was artistically filled with beautiful florals on the custom backdrop from On the Wall Studio, seamlessly blended with the overall aesthetic. The venue was chosen for its romantic ambiance with stunning views of Elliott Bay & Puget Sound in Seattle downtown. Ultimately, this design combined the enchantment of dreams with timeless elegance and subtle contemporary elements for an unforgettable wedding experience.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]From Shine- It was on Christmas Eve! The church where I grew up in Kona Hawaii had their Youth Group come to Tacoma Washington for a mission trip, so Hoon and I decided to bring some Korean snacks and ice cream as a little Christmas treat at a lunch hosted by our former senior pastor. During that time, three of Hoon’s brothers secretly came to our house and decorated our living room with balloons, backdrops, and an aisle runner in front of our Christmas Tree that we had all put up together a couple of weeks before (this was all planned too according to Hoon); it was pretty impressive. When we got back from lunch, I noticed that our living room light was on, and I was immediately annoyed since I thought I had forgotten to turn off the light; what a waste of electricity for about 4-5 hours! Then we came upstairs through the basement garage, and as soon as I stepped on the aisle runner, I knew it was time. The background music that the brothers chose was “Christmas Tree” by V; they were so into the music as we were walking down the aisle together. And there it was! The ring with the diamond. Despite the immense pressure of all of a sudden seeing something so valuable, I was above and beyond grateful that God placed me with the right partner at the right time of my life.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”] Shine visited 7 dress shops for wedding dresses and finally met Morgan from Cicada Bridal in Downtown Seattle. She wanted a simple, elegant dress that was possibly off-shoulder for more of a feminine touch. Morgan, one of the designers at Cicada Bridal, and her mother-in-law guided her through many tips and inputs during the three dress try-on, and finally found the perfect match![/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]She wanted the bridesmaids to wear something with noticeable “color” since the venue allowed the sunlight to shine on them directly, so we chose the color Dusty Blue since that was one of our color themes for the wedding.[/field]
