When searching for the perfect venue, Alyssa and Fred were looking for something that felt intimate and had the ability to be transformed into a romantic garden vibe. With the help of the natural beauty of The Lake House Inn and the addition of custom florals, this dream became a reality. Alyssa and Fred’s wedding was elegant and timeless. The florals and decor were light and airy, and the beautiful venue on the lake created a breathtaking backdrop for their ceremony. Guests were greeted with custom installations and stunning florals from the moment they entered the venue.

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids all wore a different style dress in a blush color and satin material. Each dress was unique yet they all blended seamlessly together and perfectly complimented Alyssa’s dress. [/field]

Before their grand entrance, Fred changed into a white suit jacket with a black lapel to surprise all of their guests! To make this jacket even more special, he had their wedding date embroidered on the inside. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Guests were given the option to enjoy cocktail hour both inside and outside. Appetizers such as bacon wrapped scallops, pistachio chicken and cheesesteak spring rolls were passed. “His and Her” signature drinks were being made left and right with “fun fact” napkins handed out with every drink. “His” drink was an Old Fashioned and “Hers” was a Cosmopolitan. During cocktail hour, guests were able to sign a custom watercolor painting of the venue as a keepsake for Alyssa and Fred. Guests were also given the option to partake in a wine tasting that was held in the speak easy.

As guests made their way into the reception ballroom, they were greeted with a glass of champagne on a luscious greenery wall. The dinner was a delicious split plated meal with options such as sautéed shrimp and grilled chicken, and crab cake and roast filet of beef. Towards the end of the night, guests were treated with a gelato bar with nine house churned flavors to choose from and served in mini mason jars. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The flowers throughout the entire venue were stunning and extravagant. They were a mix of white, cream and blush and added the most elegant and sophisticated touch to the venue’s natural beauty. Alyssa’s bridal bouquet was filled with white roses, peonies, ranunculus, and green eucalyptus. The stairs inside and outside of the venue were draped with custom floral installations. The aisle was lined with cream and white arrangements, and the focal point of the ceremony was a beautiful rectangular arch that was perfectly arranged.

Guests were welcomed to the wedding with a beautiful sign made with a tall gold stand and fabric sign that incorporated a welcome message and an illustration of the venue.

The decor at the ceremony and reception incorporated touches of gold throughout the spaces, and it made the wedding feel luxurious and elegant. Guests found their seats on a gold antique mirror seating chart with table numbers on cardstock that were secured with gold wax seals.

The dinner tables were neutral and classic with glass candelabra’s, gold silverware, and cream water fall napkins. The tables were lined with gorgeous flowers as well. Greenery was cascading from the outside tent borders, and custom floral chandeliers hung throughout the tent. The flower arrangements from the ceremony were repurposed for the reception and placed in front of their live band. The arch from the ceremony was also repurposed and was perfectly placed behind the sweetheart table. Alyssa and Fred sat comfortably at their table on a cream velvet love seat. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a three-tiered red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and icing. It was decorated with edible pearls and stood on a gold cake stand. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The day started off with tornado warnings, one of the worst thunderstorms, and dark clouds were looming over the venue all morning. Right before the ceremony started, the sky was completely blue and there was not a cloud in sight. It was the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony! [/field]
