Etched Theory has crafted a vision that not only complements Sunstone’s style but also encapsulates a gentle, vibrant spring essence, mirroring the personality of the bride. To achieve this, the designer Sissi incorporated a palette of soft, lighter colors for the wedding, and adorned the venue with Tuscany-inspired furniture, creating an ambiance that exudes the delicate charm of a winery.

Our vision for the wedding is one of timeless elegance, evoking a sense of solemnity and reverence for the union of the couple.

Sunstone Winery, located in Santa Ynez Valley, California, is a beautiful venue for weddings and events. With its picturesque vineyards, Tuscan-inspired architecture, and stunning surroundings, it’s a popular choice for couples looking to celebrate their special day.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Lorelei and Jason first met in their early twenties. They both went to Emory University but had never spoke until Jason started his first job, while she happened to intern at the firm across the street. They soon became very close through lots of work lunches together. Apparently those two young kids did not expect something like marrying their best friend upon that time, but they did decide to date their best friends.

It took Lorelei and Jason seven years with lots of long-distance to get to the day she walks through the aisle. There was certainly time that they might had been apart. But every time they managed to fall in love with the same person again and again. While they were not physically in the same city, they strived to become a better person for themselves and for each other, which helped them last through those seven years. After went through covid in long distance, settled down in New York together and had their puppy Winnie joined this small family, they started to envision a wedding.

Lorelei has always been a big advocate of fine-arts wedding style. After they took their

engagement photos with C&C Photography in 2021 at the beautiful Sunset Cliff of San Diego,t hey started to fall in love more with west coast and considered having their wedding there. The couple never visited Sunstone Villa, but Lorelei convinced it would be their perfect wedding location for a Tuscany-vibe fine arts style wedding. She first reached out to her great friends Annie and Candi at C&C Photography and then Sissi at Etched Theory Planning to build her visions together. They read through all the weddings held in sunstone for the most fine-art design and strategize the reception/ceremony locations based off sunlights & shade. When it came to picking a florist, Le Bloomerie stood out through their prior florist designs at sunstone and Melissa was simply talented in styling with Lorelei’s favorite flower David Austin roses. Fortunately, April 24th turned into a sunny day with all the white roses blooming along the Tuscan stone wall. With the help of other vendors, those four women (Annie, Candi, Sissi and

Melissa) built Lorelei and Jason’s dream wedding from scratch to reality. All their creative

thoughts of staircase flower, floor styling shoot added unique memories to this intimate
