A Modern Wedding With a Tropical Twist in Cabo San Lucas

The vibe that Rachol envisioned for their wedding was private, minimalist, modern, and tropical.

Rachol West-Chachere and Andre Chachere are college sweethearts from two Central California towns. They met at San Jose State University. Rachol played basketball at San Jose State and Andre played football. Andre is a professional football player and Rachol is a small business owner and digital media & content editor. They have been each other's rock since the day they met. They have two little bundles of joy, a 4 year old boy and a 1.5 years old babygirl. They got engaged in March 2021 in Monterey, CA. The proposal was a complete surprise! Rachol had absolutely no clue. They were doing their first photoshoot as a family of 4 on the beach in Monterey, CA in March 2021. They were on a secluded private beach at the Sanctuary Beach Resort in Marina, CA. Rachol was playing in the sand with her toddler. When she stood up to go check on her infant daughter, Andre was on 1 knee! The sand and waves were behind him. It was the most picture perfect proposal.

Rachol and Andre's wedding included their 40 favorite people, and to keep it family style and intimate, they opted for food stations, so guests could enjoy all the food and get seconds of their favorite dishes.

Their wedding cake was a three-tier off white strawberry, confetti, and red velvet cake with cake topper ”The Chachere’s”

FUN FACTS: Rachol is a type A personality. She makes itineraries for everything, she plans everything, and she simply make things happen. She planner all their wedding details. She is an emotional pisces, and Andre is a free spirited go with the flow Aquarius, and they are the perfect opposites and compliment each other so well.

The wedding ceremony took place at the amphitheater of the JW Marriott Los Cabos. It was a beautiful, circular and minimalist setup where guest watched them say their vows (and most of them shed some happy tears, too)
