For S&W, their dream was a fairytale wedding set within the enchanting confines of a castle. However, they wanted their dream wedding to be close to home, eliminating the need for a lengthy journey to a far-off land. After extensive research, Manna Sun Events, their dedicated wedding planner, stumbled upon the ideal location that would bring their dream to life. It was the embodiment of their vision, a place where their fairytale wedding could become a reality For this couple, their shared love of Studio Ghibli's enchanting animes held a special place in their hearts. Among their cherished Ghibli characters, Kiki from "Kiki's Delivery Service" stood out as a symbol of independence, adventure, and a touch of whimsy. It was only natural that they decided to incorporate Kiki into their wedding design, infusing their special day with a dash of Ghibli magic. The wedding details were carefully curated to weave the essence of Kiki into every aspect of the celebration. The table number cards, for instance, featured adorable Kiki herself holding a load of breads. And the welcome board depicted Kiki and Tombo sitting amidst a romantic flower field looking back as they are expecting someone to join them.

Wedding Gown

For the ceremony, the bride chose a grand ball gown that featured a magnificent 10-foot-long train. This choice perfectly complemented the fairytale ambiance of the castle setting. As the day transitioned into the reception, the bride changed to her 2nd look. Inspired by the glamour and vivacity of the 1920s, she chose a sheath silhouette piece with sweeping train, exuded a sense of celebration and liberation that defined the Roaring Twenties.

Adding a playful twist to their wedding, the couple aimed to ensure their guests had a blast on their special day. They became friends with many of the guests through board games. To cater to this shared interest and infuse an extra layer of enjoyment into their event, the couple made a creative decision during the cocktail hour. Instead of the conventional cocktail tables, they opted to set up game tables. These tables were adorned with an assortment of their favorite board games, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for their guests.

The floral and décor choices for this wedding seamlessly blend with the overarching design concept of a fairytale infused with the whimsy of Studio Ghibli. The floral arrangements were abundant, featuring a lush and flourishing design that incorporated the color scheme, punctuated by vibrant bursts of bright colors. The ceremony arch, adorned with these resplendent blooms, served as a breathtaking focal point, setting the stage for the magical day that lay ahead. One of the most captivating elements of the floral décor was the dreamy floral sweetheart chairs. These chairs, adorned with cascading flowers and greenery, provided a captivating and romantic backdrop for the couple. Throughout the day, from the ceremony to the reception, the couple and their guests found themselves surrounded by a profusion of blooms, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that truly embodied the fairytale theme.
