[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

When it comes to wedding colors, white and sage green make for a timeless and elegant combination. A white wedding is a classic, some gold accents in table decor give a touch of glamour. The addition of creamy tones adds depth and blush pick creates a romantic atmosphere. Our wedding colors were largely inspired by the beauty of Villa Cora and the history of Florence. We wanted to incorporate natural elements and colors, and when you walk around the grounds of Villa Cora, you see tons of beautiful roses and the gorgeous, intricate details within its historic walls. We went with whites, creams, vintage rose blush, and touches of green and gold.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Florence and the Tuscan region as a whole is classically beautiful and romantic, and we wanted to stay true to this. We wanted to celebrate our love with a classically romantic and elegant wedding that fit flawlessly within the walls of Villa Cora. Roses were a big inspiration – from the florals to the menus, place settings and overall color scheme.

We wanted this to be an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family, where love and intimacy was felt by all. Place settings included our favorite quotes about love written by great writers and poets, and at the end of dinner, guests were surprised with handwritten letters by the bride and groom. These details were so important to us, because we were incredibly grateful that guests had made the trip to celebrate with us in our favorite city of Florence.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Dave proposed to me (Colbie) at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. in June 2022. My Parents (Mr. and Mrs. Errico) got engaged in this very spot which made it incredibly special. We both reside in Washington, D.C. and the picturesque Jefferson Memorial is one of Colbie’s favorite places in D.C.[/field]

The wedding gown is the Bobbie dress by Justin Alexander. It has an intricate sweetheart style boustier which is designed with individually laser-cut flowers of different shapes and sizes and drapes over the shoulders, which the bride removed for portions of the evening and wore as a strapless dress. The long satin train contains satin-covered buttons all the way down the back of the dress, and a slit in the front allows for the bride to show some leg as well. The dress was described as romantic and classic, with a unique twist. It was purchased in Charleston, South Carolina at Bridal House of Charleston.

The ceremony was intimate and had religious moments where guests bowed their heads to pray and friends and family read passages from the bible. The flower girl and ring bearer(s) were the bride and grooms sweet nieces and nephews, and they did a great job. 😊 The couple’s first dance was to “Lover” by Taylor Swift.
