Timeless Romance Inspired by Dior at Château de Fonscolombe

The Planning
The Inspiration
February 12, 1947 was an international success with the New-look collection. It's the story of a magical moment that succeeded in launching the Dior legend with mid-calf dresses and skirts. The Dior silhouette promotes strapless dresses and long, wide, pleated, flowing, skirted skirts under an emphasized bust. So, the inspiration is Dior, Audrey Hepburn, the '50s. We can even compare our shoot to Dior's "Miss Dior" ad. The idea of Anne-Clothilde from the Hedhera agency was to combine the 50s, Provence and modernity. The story is simple: a couple on their way to their wedding at Château de Fonscolombe.
The Venue
Château de Fonscolombe is an exceptional venue in the south of France. Built in the 18th century in the heart of Provence, this magnificent estate belonged to a great family of humanists, the Marquis de Saporta and the Marquis de Fonscolombe.
The Fashion
Wedding Gown
There are three outfits: The first is a Dior New Look dress by Mademoiselle Rêve (for the arrival at their welcome dinner) Then we have a modern crop top and flowing pants by L'Amusée Paris (for their departure) Finally, we have a sophisticated formal gown for an elegant and exceptional look by Galia Lahav.
