From IDA ROSE EVENTS: Gena and Adam’s NY wedding was a true destination experience for their guests. The couple’s casual yet luxurious style was made known in each decision in detail throughout the day, and guest experience was key. The venue itself is a work of art, and our goal was to highlight the European influences found throughout the property. Little accents of Tuscan inspired decor peppered the day- such as the Limoncello escort display and long banquet style kings table with lush floral and a plethora of dusty blue tapered candles. A classic palette of blue and white set the tone for the beautiful June day, and even the tiny bit of rain that made an appearance right before their outdoor ceremony didn’t take away from the celebration. A deconstructed arch, and full aisle framing blooms made the already picturesque ceremony scene even more lovely, and cocktail hour in the gardens featured yummy signature drinks, a sprawling charcuterie spread, branded napkins and custom drink stirrers. The reception was a romantic candlelit occasion, with an al fresco feel thanks to the clear top tent. After dining at the guest tables featuring three different linen and table setting looks, guests danced the night away – followed by a bon fire after party!

[field title=”Proposal Story”]I was told that we were going to help with the engagement with one of Adam’s good friends, while I thought there could be a possibility we would get engaged I truly didn’t think it would happen that day. Adam lured me to the roof to “take pictures” of our friends’ proposal. I immediately knew when we got to the top of the stairs and non one else was there but us 500 roses and a poster with our pictures on it. I was in shock as it happened and really couldn’t get the words to express how excited I was- I think I stood in shock for a bit just staring at Adam laughing as he was down on one knee. This was all followed by our parents surprising us in our apartment with champagne (they were meeting for the first time!!) and then the finale of it all was a surprise engagement party with friends. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world- and it was Adam so I knew how much time he spent curating this experience to make me happy![/field]

During cocktail hour beautiful hors d’oeuvre were passed like chicken and biscuits bites, salmon tartar, meatballs. The dinner food was beautifully plated for each guest. Desserts were dulce de leche wedding cake and mini creme brule
