Contrasting Colors Inside a Château Filled with Modern Elegance

The Planning
The Inspiration

I wanted a modern and more fashion-oriented design. The highly distinctive identity of this project is built around a palette of strong and contrasting colors: black, white and green combined with shades of orange and fuchsia. The black-and-white striped tablecloth and cane chairs add character to the dinner table. And, of course, tassel chandeliers to complete the décor for this dinner, which takes place in the Château's beautiful cypress alley. The intimate ceremony in the Château's inner courtyard is all about greenery, with a colorful floral touch.

The Venue

Located in Carpentras, the Château Martinay is a magnificent wedding venue with a blend of classical elegance and modern luxury. Set amidst sprawling grounds and majestic oak trees, this enchanting castle offers a serene and refined atmosphere, ideal for couples seeking a fairytale wedding experience in the heart of Provence!

The Details
Florals & Decor

The floral work by La Blonde et le Barbu Design blends in very well with the project, with alternating floral and greenery arrangements to give rhythm to the dinner table. The large ceremony arch with greenery is also a statement piece.

Favorite Design Element

I’m totally in love with the stationery designed by CMO Studio and the delicate hand-painted plates by designer Marie Daâge.
