Indy Blue’s Garden Gala Wedding in Montecito
The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
We wanted a nostalgic yet glamorous garden party style wedding - colorful attire, feathers, hats, etc. What's better than an abundance of garden roses and fall foliage to amp up that style?

Wedding Gown
Indy told herself when she was a teenager that she would not get married until she could afford her dream dress. And the day finally came when she saw an incredible creation by Khyeli - a dramatic feathered dress and a statement hat.

Florals & Decor
The bride wanted "a lot of flowers." So "there was a lot of flowers" according to Debbie, the owner and designer of Studio Anonimi. An asymmetrical sprawling floral alter was created with fall foliages and an explosion of garden roses in various pink shades. The altar ties into the season and nods to the nostalgic yet glamorous wedding theme. Behind where guests are seated during ceremony, there is a fountain. A garden was created surrounding the fountain, which is in turn, surrounded by reception tables, making it a real garden party. In terms of the bridal bouquet, we decided to create a classic and simple bundle so that it doesn't take away the drama created by the dress and hat. we took inspiration from the classic long-stem bouquet but added our twist of vines and delicate butterfly ranunculus to make it more organic and natural.
Wedding Cake
Babinka Treats created an old school yet classic tiered cake, simply decorated with raspberries.
