A Classic All-White Affair at Villa Regina Teodolinda

As I mentioned, our relationship was built on traditions. We love the classics. We wanted our wedding to represent our love – traditional, classic and intimate. A white rose, a black tuxedo, a romantic, flowy dress. For us, it’s quality over quantity which is why only our closest of friends and family were in attendance on our big day. The elegance of Villa Regina Teodolinda is classic Italy and it just felt so right!

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Joe and I value tradition. On our second date we did a Christmas scavenger hunt where made a list of ten Christmas activities to do just three days before Christmas. Every year we’ve continued the tradition so it only seemed fitting that Joe proposed with a scavenger hunt to the airport. From there we landed in California and headed to Napa Valley for a weekend getaway. Joe arranged a private tour at The Napa Valley Reserve, a vineyard in which his family belongs. At the end of the tour Joe got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with beautiful wine barrels and lit candles framing the grand entrance with “The Napa Valley Reserve” overhead.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”] Wedding dress was from Berta. Getting married in an Italian villa is a fairytale. Berta dresses say just that – “fairytale”! – what every princess would want to wear on her most special day. [/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Bridesmaids dresses were ‘Show Me Your Mumu’. No one does bridesmaids dresses better than ‘Show Me Your Mumu’. We wanted elegant and simple. The wedding gown has a bit of silver shimmer to it and so we chose silver to play off of that nicely.[/field]
