Old World Garden Meets Modern Chic Luxury
This old-world garden-inspired editorial at Goodstone Inn located near Middleburg, Virginia is sophisticated, chic, and timeless with the soft touches of delicate garden florals, an ivy-covered ceremony facade, and a nod toward fashion. Industry talent from Virginia, Maryland and beyond came together to make the perfect showcase of classic design and modern elegance. Baltimore wedding planners Nouvelle Weddings and photographers Margulies & Brooks, a recent project partnering between Gray Kammera Photography & Paola Nazati Photography, joined together to dream up a day meant to capture the hearts of every garden romantic.
Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Shenandoah Valley, the Goodstone Inn located near Middleburg, VA, was an obvious choice for our collaboration. The old Inn exudes an air of tranquility and romance. Its charming architecture, adorned with rich history and rustic elegance, as well as the lush gardens and rolling hills surrounding the property, offered breathtaking backdrops for this stylish couple.
A puff sleeve one shoulder gown by Romona Keveza from The Bride Room in Nashville paired with a flawless bridal beauty look by Sarah Khan Artistry provided a sleek and modern glam vibe.
This intentionally styled editorial collaboration is sure to inspire with a focus on fashion and florals that are traditional with a twist of drama and playfulness. An abundance of delicate garden florals was infused into every scene by Stacy Bowen Floral Design and set the stage for a memorable experience. Overflowing baskets of flowers for the ceremony hinged current trends with classic elegance. While a touch of yellow brought a fun, summer feel to the sophisticated neutral palette of the tablescape.
My favorite design elements were the gorgeous bouquet by Stacy Bowen Floral Design, the ceremony basket decor, and the gold-etched glassware which brought an elegant yet fun vibe to the day.
