Shades of soft pink, cream tones, and summer greens.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Our design was inspired by the beautiful vanilla strawberry hydrangeas. These flowers change from a light green to cream colour to finally ending with pink.
We wanted to create the feeling of being whisked away for a romantic dreamy summer afternoon away from the city. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
For the wedding gown, our bride chose a romantic and elegant dress by Calla Blanche. This dreamy A-line silhouette with a sweetheart neckline was originally a strapless gown. However, our bride decided to have the option of adding an airy tulle off-shoulder sleeves for a softer look.

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]A highlight of the food at Sarah and Sean’s wedding is the gelato cart!
From one of the best gelato shops in the city, our couple choose flavours they both enjoyed and knew their guests will also fall in love with. Flavours included yuzu citrus, espresso with chocolate bark, and to showcase the beautiful summer fruits, the BC strawberry.
For those who wanted something other than a drink at the bar to cool off, this provided a sweet and delicious reprieve from the warm afternoon sun.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]We focused on created an understated design with a touch of modern romance for the florals and decor.
The Stanely Park Pavilion is known for it’s iconic building and we decided to have a fluffy asymmetrical arch with flowers in shades of cream and pink and plenty of textures. We also created a lush arrangement to mark the aisle entrance.
For the reception, we choose to use an airy clear top tent with soft draping and cloud like hanging installation for that whimsical look. We tied it together with soft blush table linens, mauve glassware, textured satin napkins and tapered candles for a warm ambience.
We also used touches of gold for a bit of glamour that can be seen in the flatware, bar, and escort card display.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]We also wanted the cake to be a statement piece, so we chose to have a three tired cake that was intricately decorated with sugar flowers, wafer paper and plenty of textures. It was a cake that was so dreamy, romantic, and breathtaking.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Some of our favourite details were the special touches that alluded to both of their heritage; Korean and Chinese. The wedding favours of herbarium diffusers were designed and made in Korea and plenty of guests dressed up in beautiful traditional Chinese qipaos.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]An interesting detail for this wedding include the specially designed personalized menus with a velum pull out to tie into the wrapping of the wedding favours. The ribbon knot on the menus was tied in the traditional knot that is commonly seen in the Hanbok (Korean traditional dress). We also used the same vellum paper to wrap each of the wedding favours that also doubled as an escort card display. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]It was important for our couple that their guests have a fun time, so various things were included for an entertaining and memorable experience. One of the entertainment was having a magician mingle amongst the guests and do some interactive magic tricks.[/field]
