The cocktail hour featured passed hors d'oeuvres as well as a chef's station poetically called "White Cloud with Truffle" (truffle-infused potato mousse with a savory cream foam.) The seated meal treated guests to a seasonal starter of beautiful green asparagus, sheep's milk cheese, sour chanterelles and rocket, and a classic main of beef filet and potatoes. For dessert, guests selected from a variety of French patisserie tarts and cakes.
La Maison Dautel worked with a variety of white florals, creating sculptural pillars of baby's breath for the ceremony and delicate floral runners that danced in the center of each table.
When in France, pick a croquembouche! The tower of cream puffs was presented with fanfare at the end of the meal.
