Private Country Estate Wedding Amidst The Dreamy Gardens

The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision

This wonderful couple wanted their wedding to be a beautiful representation of who they are as individuals as well as who they are becoming as a married couple. Their hope was to honor their cultures while creating a fun, spring inspired celebration.

Proposal Story

Irene and Zach's love story started like most great modern day stories do…Tinder! Like many couples getting married this year, Tinder opened the door to what quickly became the best date night of their life! Their timing worked out perfectly because they happened to "match" around the time they both had just moved back home from school. After a few failed attempts at making plans, Irene and Zach finally met for what was supposed to be a casual drink after work at Rye Bar in San Francisco. What was supposed to be a one drink night turned into a 5+ drinks and 3 bars! That very same week, they had their 2nd and 3rd dates! You could say the rest was history for them! Zach surprised Irene and popped the question on New Years day in 2022! While Zach and Irene's San Francisco home was being completely remodeled, Zach set up a pre-lit Christmas tree and tucked a stuffed puppy with a ring tied around its neck underneath. Irene, being a lover of all things Christmas, always hoped for a puppy under the tree. Zach knew it was the closest he could get to fulfilling her childhood dream at the time. Of course Irene said yes and was beyond excited! Don't worry the real puppy came soon after!

The Fashion
Wedding Gown

The wedding gown was Rivini Reagan (purchased on www.stillwhite.com).

Bridesmaid Dresses

The bridesmaids were dressed in varying styles of beautiful dusty blue dresses from Birdy Grey. They all chose styles that fit their personality and shape best! Irene's three maid of honors were wearing stunning blue floral dresses to set them apart!

Groomsman Attire

All of the groomsmen were fitted in traditional white and black suites from The Black Tux. Zach, the groom, chose to wear an all black suite from The Black Tux as well.

The Details
Food & Drink

The appetizers and entrees were catered by the Park Winters in house catering and included a variety of fresh poultry and vegetables. Zach and Irene chose to have custom His and Her cocktails served at their cocktail hour that included a custom wood stir stick with their adorable pup Apple on it!

Florals & Decor

Their beautiful florals designed by Dixon Florist, were the perfect pop to Zach and Irene's Park Winters wedding day. Irene's bouquet was filled with white and blush florals with a fun pop of burgundy. The bridesmaids all carried a single white rose for their bouquets.

Wedding Cake
Zach and Irene veered away from the traditional wedding cake and surprised their guests with a delicious custom ice cream cart during their reception! Guests were able to choose from multiple flavors including an espresso covered ice cream cup!
Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs

Irene and Zach's stunning spring wedding day at Park Winters was the perfect combination of joy, unity and love. Their beautiful day featured three incredible ceremonies. They started with a traditional ceremony which her sister and maid of honor officiated for them. After, they had a quick wardrobe change and began their Korean Paebaek ceremony followed by a Malaysian candle lighting. Incorporating each of their families cultures was so important to both Zach and Irene and it was a beautiful representation of their unity moving forward.

Special Detail #1
The couples Paekbaek ceremony was an amazing part of their day and a perfect way to honor the bride's family. During a Paekbaek ceremony, the bride and groom bows to the parents and relatives as a sign of reverence and devotion to their new family. After each bowing, the couple will serve tea (or rice wine) to each set of elders. Then the elders will throw dates and chestnuts for the bride and groom to catch in an apron which symbolize the number of healthy offspring the couple will have. Dates represent sons and chestnuts symbolize daughters. Finally, the groom piggybacks his bride on his back around the table twice as a show of strength.
