From the bride… We always knew we wanted to get married at Gibson Island! During our dating years, we spent many weekends at Gibson hanging out at the beach, playing golf, or enjoying long walks. It quickly became a place that we went together almost every weekend in the summer where we made a ton of amazing memories. Also, it was the perfect location since it was so close to my home in Baltimore, which made it convenient for family and friends.

We also love Annapolis since Ryan attended the Naval Academy which is why we chose Annapolis for our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. We felt so lucky to have been members at the ideal wedding location for the both of us! We met in D. C. In the spring of 2019 when Ryan was still in the Navy, and I was working my first job out of college. We met through Hinge and had our first date over drinks at Churchkey on 14th St.; then the rest was history!

As cliche as it sounds, our favorite moment was the ceremony. The weather turned out perfect, and it was a special time to share our love for each other in front of all our friends and family. Other close runners-up were the first look and, of course, dancing after dinner. We loved every second, and it really was the best day ever.
