Midsummer Wedding in Tuscany at Villa Le Fontanelle

From the bride: "My vision was to create a romantic and whimsical intimate wedding that captured the true beauty of a Tuscan summer day. I wanted to use a very timeless color palette of dusty hues that aesthetically complimented our beautiful venue."

From the bride: "We got engaged on a warm November day at the beach where we spend our summers. My now husband invited all of our family to be a part of this special day which made it all the more exciting. After the proposal he reserved a private room at a near by country club where he hosted a dinner to celebrate! "

The menu served during the wedding reception was the following: Tortelli pasta stuffed with ricotta, thyme and marjoram with Parmigiano zabaglione and Risotto Carnaroli with red bell peppers cream, Burrata foam and crunchy pistachios as first couses. Beef fillet with Brunello di Montalcino wine sauce served with Vegetable ratatouille and Sage roasted potatoes as main course. For the vegetarian guests, Eggplant parmesan on tomato coulis with extra virgin olive oil was served. They also served the following wines: La Segreta Sicilia DOC Chianti Classico DOCG Ormanni Moscato D’Asti Il Bosseto

The flowers decors were made with Roses, Spary roses, English roses, Astilbe, Eucalyptus., Delphinium, Blue eryngos. They have been used both for the bridal bouquet, the ceremony decor and the reception decors.

The Wedding Cake was made live in front of the guests. It was a traditional Italian Millefoglie with Chantilly cream, almonds brittle and mixed berries on top

From the bride: "Our first trip as a couple was to Italy and since then we always knew it would be so special to get married there! We got married on the first day of summer We found out we were pregnant with a baby girl a few days after our wedding while on our honey moon in Lake Como For my something borrowed I included my grandmothers wedding song on our dinner playlist. I wanted to make sure she was still apart of my wedding day even though she could not make the travel to Italy!"
