The Fashion
Wedding Gown
The gown was a strapless Vera Wang stunner with tulle overlay and large modern floral embroidery . The detached tulle shawl, that was added for the ceremony, provided a surprise for the groom when Madalyn took her first steps toward him down the aisle.
Bridesmaid Dresses
The soft grey silk BHLDN spaghetti strapped gowns were a perfect accent to the soft modern palette providing just the right amount of contrast from the stark white bouquets. Our Brides-man chose to match the groomsmen with a black tux but stood out from the crowd with a bouquet of greenery.
Groomsman Attire
In order to remain classic and timeless, we chose a formal Tux through The Black Tux for all of the gentleman. However, in order to stay modern we paired the tux with a clean white pocket square and chose to forgo the boutonniere

Food & Drink
First course was a Bib Wedge Salad with shaved stilton bleu, toasted walnuts, proscuitto and a champagne vinaigrette. The main course - was a choice of 3 entrees: coriander dusted Gulf Grouper filet with spiced tomatillo nage, or a shrimp/beef duo. Three Jumbo Gulf Shrimp and a Petit Tenderloin of beef with chive beurre blanc and demi-glace, or a black truffle risotto with roasted portabella and garlic chive. For dessert, the couple kept it traditional with serving their wedding cake - but...added espresso martinis to compliment.
Florals & Decor
To celebrate Florida we leaned into the beautiful blue tones the ocean provides and paired that with lattice work that compliments the old Florida lifestyle we love here. Soft white Garden Roses and Sweet-pea provided that true bright white that helps modernize the esthetic. We played with pattern to keep the energy light and playful while staying true to the lattice pattern that began as the accent to the otherwise traditional Chuppah structure custom designed for Madalyn and Sam by Trinity Rentals. The lattice design could also be found in their escort display that was built onto a hedge wall and constructed on site by Kaleidoscope Florals with tags that showed X's and O's. The X' and O's were a key element too as the couple shows their love by saying "I love you like XO". We took that sentiment and thread it through to the Menus designed by Script Me Pretty and the Lattice paper with a subtle x and o hidden within. Small wooden Tic Tac Toe games could be found on cocktail tables for a little lighthearted fun to continue the xo playful gesture.
We wanted to fill the space with candlelight and florals so we opted for tall modern lined candelabras and large scale floral trees created by Kaleidoscope florals. The lighting was the icing on the cake by Luminary and CO to highlight the tall florals and give dimension to the entire space. -JetSetWed
Wedding Cake
Our cake was created by Sweetified Cakes and inspired by the brides gown with airy wafer paper flowers jumping off the cake to add that bit of whimsy and play. We framed the cake with lattice paper accented arched walls provided by Plithos Rentals for the perfect cake cutting scene. -JetSetWed
Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs
You could likely have guessed it by now but the couple chose "I love you like XO" by Beyonce for their first dance song. -JetSetWed
Special Detail #1
Espresso Martinis are making a big statement in weddings today and ours was no exception with a tower of coupes through Savoir Event Rentals on cocktail tables lining the foyer for the guests to enjoy during dessert service.
Special Detail #2
Lorena of Script Me Pretty created place cards for each guest that framed their names in A floral X pattern or O pattern to identify their meal choice.
Special Detail #3
The couples wedding was originally planned for Captiva Island, Florida. Unfortunately the devastation of Hurricane Ian impacted Captiva Island greatly destroying their venue, and they had to pivot their entire wedding in 7.5 weeks. Their incredible planner JetSetWed (also personally impacted by the hurricane herself) immediately got to work securing the couple a new venue. And we mean immediately. With no power to the region, and incredibly spotty (read; mostly non existent) cell coverage - Kehrin of JetSetWed still managed to use the power of social media (Instagram) to find an open venue for the couple's date. Instagram, surprisingly, was one of the only forms of communication that would send out through stories, during the days following the storm. It was truly a miracle - and a testimony to having professionals on your wedding team. Where there is love - there is always a way! And plan B in Marco Island - well we think you'd never guess it was ever plan B. :) - Hunter Ryan Photo
