This Fusion Eastern Shore Tented Wedding Is Filled With Flair
The couple was looking for an elevated dinner party with their favorite people. They wanted to ensure good drinks, food, and music! The overall vibe was pretty classic with the neutral color palette. The bride wanted to highlight the fantastic almost 360 views of the Chesapeake Bay at her parents' house.
The bride wore Pnina Tornai from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York, where she went to buy her dresses. She finished the look with shoes from Christian Louboutin.
The couple had an open bar with all of their favorite selections. For dinner, they selected a traditional Indian buffet with items like Paneer Makhani, Tawa Roti, and Lamb Rogan Josh.
The bride's personal bouquet had a white monochromatic design that included flowers such as garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, and jasmine vine. The couple also exchanged traditional Hindu garlands during the ceremony. Overall, the couple was looking for a classic and romantic yet minimalistic style. Incorporating an acrylic seating chart and clear chairs, helped to create a light and airy feel to ensure that the fantastic 360-degree bay view was never obstructed. Aside from the view, the main focal point of the reception was the large white wisteria installation above the dance floor that wowed the guests!
They skipped the traditional cake for dessert and instead chose Indian desserts, Pista Kulfi and Gulab Jamun with Massala Tea.
A dhol player was present to greet the guests as they arrived at the estate. A keyboard and saxophone provided light background music during cocktail hour. And a full live band provided music throughout the reception. The couple was introduced into the reception with Mirrors by Justin Timberlake and then danced to December 1963 (Oh What a Night) for their first dance.
Guest comfort was another priority for the couple. Bringing in lounge vignettes from Something Vintage allowed guests to relax and watch the beautiful sunset. The lounges were wooden with white cushions for a comfortable yet elevated feel.
The bride's parents had recently bought the property, and they took great care in making sure the landscaping was perfect. The parents of the bride worked with a local nursery to bring in planters around the pool, as a surprise for the couple, they even made a N+D out of planters in their front lawn as guests arrived.
