When the Romance of Classical Music Encounters the Legion of Honor, This Is Where Love Begins

From Studio OpiaNeed a classical museum love journey setting with old-world heritage from the last century? If you are a classical music lover, this is a wedding you can not miss. This is the dream wedding of Yuting and Yuxin, held by Lovely Time Weddings & Events. The couple, who share a love of classical music, gave each other marriage vows under the astonishing sculptures of Rodin. They had their first dance surrounded by the historical atmosphere of museum buildings and an ocean of flowers made by florist Mandy’s Garden. See all the inspiration in the full gallery.

Studio Opia captured it all in photography, sure to stand the test of time. Romantic love stories always begin at unexpected moments. Do what you love, and you will probably meet someone to get it out to the world together. The loving couple first met in Italy to attend conferences, invited by a mutual friend. Due to unforeseen circumstances, a trip for three became a journey of two! After the first couple of conversations, they soon realized they shared many common interests in academic research and personal life.

It was as if they had been friends since long ago. Classical music, historical antiques, and traveling were their topics of choice. Following the final conference, they kick-started their endeavors as a couple in the romantic country. Without a fixed travel plan, they started their journey on the road with a spontaneous energy that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. The bride inspired the setting of the ceremony space with her wish to have her wedding feel like being held in an ocean of pink and white flowers. The flowers, forming curved aisles arranged by the florist, brought this pink ocean fantasy to life. Meanwhile, the giant pillars of the Legion of Honor Museum in pure white made the perfect backdrop for the scene. The bride elegantly walked down the floral road towards the groom, with all their family and friends sharing their happiness. It was a profound and romantic moment when the bride and the groom looked at each other with deep love in their eyes.

Classic was at the center of the wedding theme; you could find it in the music of famous classical artists, the museum garden, and every detail from the after-wedding party. A golden, antique-style music stand holding sheet music served as the seating chart for the evening. Opening the seating chart, one could see the attendees’ names as individual musical notes, composing a song of celebration. The couple took the music stand home, and it has become a precious memory of the wedding. Playing music on it brings back their joyful wedding memories and emotions. The team chose pink alcohol for the wedding, which the couple named “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” As the name suggests, they hoped their wedding would be the dream they shared with their family and friends. Jasper décor and antique-framed fridge magnets were selected as gifts for attendees, referencing the priceless items behind museum display cabinets.
