[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Shades of pink including blush, dusty rose, and peach. Accented with pops of yellow and lavender.[/field]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]You can’t help, but smile when you see Crystal & Jason’s colorful and festive wedding. Crystal & Jason had a bright and cheery wedding with shades of pink and bold florals everywhere. It was so colorful, you would think their fall Texas wedding was in the spring! From the bride: “Our vision was whimsical, garden inspired wedding decor with blushes, pinks, hints of corals and peaches”. Hanging greenery and disco balls set a festive tone for the reception. The design all came together perfectly thanks to her wedding planner, Bianca Nichole & Co.[/field]

[field title=”Proposal Story”]From the bride Crystal: “Jason proposed on August 7, 2021! He asked Crystal to go to dinner and then to have a picnic by the lake. After dinner, he took Crystal along the lake into an area that was very sentimental to her. This was the exact location where she first saw a picture of Austin that made her fall in love with the idea of living there. Tears were flowing well before the actual proposal, and then Jason popped down on one knee and asked her to be his wife!”[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The brides wore a beautiful classic gown designed by Suzanne Neville. She chose a a classic silhouette with a ballgown feel but a modern neckline. Her stunning cathedral veil, Untamed Petals earrings, and Harlo bridal shoes all had delicate pearl details.[/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaid dresses were satin to compliment the brides gown. We chose to use a soft blush as a grounding color so the flowers could pop against the fabric.

The bridesmaids dresses were from a few places: Show Me Your Mumu (2 dresses), Asos & Azazie.[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Their two signature drinks were named after their dogs as seen in their cocktail napkin. A margarita was a must for their Texas wedding! Their drinks and delicious family style food was provided by Whim Hospitality. Menu items included Spanish-Style Flat Iron Steak a la Plancha and Caveat Churros for dessert![/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The seating chart was a collaborative dream between the bride, her planner,

Bianca Nichole and Co and the stationer, Design to Flourish. It was the perfect addition to the garden inspired wedding, with the script Love in Full Bloom at the top of the seating chart to greet guests as they made their way to the ceremony site. Every guest got their own unique flower, a thoughtful gift from the bride and groom. Beautiful garden inspired florals from Whim Hospitality filled the reception space and lined the entrance of their ceremony. A pink petal toss concluded their sweet ceremony as the newlyweds walked down the aisle. [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]In line with the bride’s pearl details, very tiny pearls dotted the whole cake which looked almost like water droplets along the icing. The garden inspired theme came together with bright blooms along the cake. The bride knew she wanted a heavy amount of flowers on the cake to continue the garden inspiration. Crystal and her planner, Bianca Nichole and Co, chose a soft blush linen to complete the cake moment.[/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Crystal & Jason started their wedding with a first look followed by a teary-eyed private vow reading under the trees of Camp Lucy. Their vows were written within delicate custom vow books. The vow reading was one of my favorite moments to capture that day![/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The bride created a Newlywed Times newspaper filled with engagement photos, wedding weekend details, and a thank you letter. The couple put this creative newspaper in every welcome bag for their guests. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The celebration kicked off with disco balls spinning, Cuban cigar rolling by Ruiz Cigars and Rollers, and lively music from DJ Helios. Even the bride’s grandma could not get off the dance floor! As the celebration continued, the couple provided glow sticks and light up cowboy hats for the dance floor. It was a night that their guests will never forget. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]From the bride: “Our love story begins in the Summer of 2012 in New York City. It’s short and simple; we met drunk at a bar! We stayed up until 8 in the morning talking on a rooftop and it was one of the magical moments where you truly just know. We both left that rooftop that day feeling overwhelmed that our lives were about to change after meeting. We dated for about a year and a half until we impulsively decided to quit our jobs, pick a random city on the map and just move, ultimately deciding on Dallas, TX. Within weeks of this decision we packed up our homes & headed to Texas where we decided to build our lives and eventually moved to Austin, TX!”[/field]
